A design for a statuette that I’m going to 3D print. Made with #signeddistancefield in SDF Modeler, rendered in #blender by @chippertron

Here's the animated version of the stills I posted recently. It's is a thing I was working on last year and let drift - what’s the point of working on something for ages just to let it rot?! Answers below please! I have an ongoing obsession with robots and I love the uniformity and rhythm of production lines. There’s also something here about interior, difference, the individual and the collective. But mostly robots. All in #blender #b3d #3drender #wip #robot #scifi #productionline #animation by @chippertron

I have an ongoing obsession with robots and I love the uniformity and rhythm of production lines. There’s also something here about interior, difference, the individual and the collective. But mostly robots. Trying to improve my craft, I’ve been sculpting (for the shell) and hard surface modelling (for the skeleton) as well as rendering the whole thing in a volume to add atmosphere. All in #blender I’ll post the full #animation soon. #b3d #3drender #wip #robot #scifi #productionline taken in Calstock by @chippertron

This is one from a couple of years ago. Further experiments with #blender - lighting, materials, volume, #mograph. Not sure why I didn’t post it at the time 🤷‍♂️ You know how it is: perfect is the enemy of good! #b3d #loop #fractured by @chippertron

Lots of positives. More looping mograph experiments in Blender ∞ I loves me a loop ∞ Still wrestling with workflow issues after years of C4D ingrained habits but I’m getting there! Sound on - helps sell it :) #geometrynodes #blender #render #mograph #positivity taken in Calstock UK by @chippertron

It's been a long time... Moving from #C4D to #Blender has been challenging! I'm trying to rebuild those #mograph neural pathways. I saw a cool piece by @tatsuyam_ and used it as inspiration for this. - - - - #loop #satisfying #b3d by @chippertron

Apologies for the massive image dump! Last one for a while. More work for my friend's music project from last year: 'Space Robots', a 70's-inspired disco funk duo - Parliament and Funkadelic meets Daft Punk. It was a great excuse for me to develop some ideas. I love the work of Japanese illustrator Shusei Nagaoka and I'd been wanting to channel his brand of optimistic airbrushed sc-fi for ages. . Swipe right for more. . #c4d #cinema4d #maxon #redshift #render #illustration #dancing #robot #scifi #scifiart #robots #70s by @chippertron
