WHAT IS CHIPTUNE?

AI SLOP OVERVIEW SAYS:

Chiptune (or chip music) is a style of electronic music created using the programmable sound generator (PSG) chips or sound synthesizers from vintage arcade machines, computers (like Commodore 64), and game consoles (like NES, Game Boy). It is characterized by nostalgic "beeps and boops" 8-bit sounds, originally born from the technical limitations of 1980s/90s hardware.

EXPECT TO HEAR GAMEBOY GABBER, AMIGA JUNGLE, NANOLOOP LAYERS, VIDEO GAME INSPIRED MUSIC AND MORE
THIS IS ONE EXTRA SPECIAL PARTY YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS!

A retro-future journey across the galaxy, composed and arranged by Alex Wilson ( @sleepmakeswavesaus ) and Tom Gilmore (LOW STAKES, @10kfreemen) on the Dirtywave M8 Tracker, set for release on July 25, 2025.

"Bus rides turned into moody, chiptune-inspired post-rock odes. Train trips became the soundtracks to space-themed racing games that were never made. Late nights warped into tributes to 80s drum machines and the arcade cabinet sounds of our early youth.

We really hope you enjoy the results."
