Diwali release has always been special for the audience as “This Diwali” text in any trailer feels something special something big is coming. THIS DIWALI became special for me as i got to see my first Hindi Screenwriting Credit on big screen as Additional Dialogue Writer in THAMMA. Huge huger hugest thanks to @nirenbhatt for trusting me and letting me be a small part of his beautiful writing world. Reading his drafts is a screenwriting workshop in itself. Unhone meri shaktio ka sahi istemaal kiya hai maa. Thank you @instafunny_manan for existing so that i could meet Niren bhai in this timeline. This thrilling script was amazingly executed by director supreme @aditya_a_sarpotdar . Jaisa imagine kiya waisa hi banaa sir 🙌🏽. Watch Thamma at the earliest to Witness supremacy of these makers. DREAMING MATTERS. And we saw it coming to life tonight. 2.5 hours of craziness echoed through @njpac . Thank you everyone who turned up for creating this core memory. This Lavari Show has etched in all our minds for life time. Peak happiness. ❤️ Thank you so much @amitdpathak and @meetul_ptl of BE UNITED, our national promoters of USA tour for the constant love and always supporting gujarati humour and culture.❤️ Shoutout to @vidya_mdesai and @instafunny_manan for dreaming this. Universe listened and how. You deserve all the praise in that arena.❤️ And thank you @thecomedyfactoryindia for being home to gujaratis away from home #TheLavariShow #NJPAC by @chirayu_m
Never in my wildest dreams did i think that i would be able to make a living out of what i do. After more than 10 years of doing standup, yesterday i released my first ever standup special in Gujarati and today in Hindi. 10 saal. Kaafi lamba time hota hai Anand bhai. I haven’t smiled with teary eyes in a long time. Thank you everyone for letting me do this and grateful to all who have been part of this journey. Found bunch of these pics as i was going throughs years of data that was collected through the years in dusty hard drives (Thank god they are working) 1. One from my birthday in 2004 at my old house. 2. These trips with Mummy Pappa were my happy place. 3. My first ever attempt at standup on a jampad stage in MSU in 2013. I am glad that video nahi hai. 4. First open mic of @thecomedyfactoryindia in Vadodara which i won. God bless this timeline. 5. Got to perform at @weekendwindow and after the show, @vidya_mdesai gave me cover with Rs 1500 in it. My mind was blown thinking ke mujhe bolne ke paise koi kyu dega? 🥺 6. Initially had a habit of writing set list on these papers and carry it everywhere. Ek joke abhi bhi chalta hai. 7. @nautankideep performing at a bachelorette gig before me at unsold shop in an under development mall. Why? No one knows. 8. Forever grateful to @instafunny_manan for giving me stage. Thank you for believing ❤️ 9. First mic as a host at shakemaker. This show poster is still on my bedroom wall. Parr kuch saal baad yahaan ki chatt gir gai. 10. First time facing a crowd in a 500 seater jam packed auditorium. 11. Waah kya entry hai 12. Teachers day pe college mein microtek ke chindi speaker pe komedi karte hue. 13. Yeh show ka koi record nahi hai. Bas zehen mein hai. 14. CLC weekend was a proud badge 15. Chumbasamraat 16. Very first trial show of Mistry Solved 17. First auditorium show of Mistry Solved which turned out to be a soldout gig thanks to mumbai peeps ❤️ 18. LIKE, SHARE and COMMENT. Show is out now on Youtube. @indianartista made this poster for me. And she made the original. ❤️ #standupcomedy #comedian by @chirayu_m
