God, I’m still counting my blessings. 🤍

This past week was one of those experiences that I truly don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words. We met so many beautiful and sweet faces, had the opportunity to serve and care for so many people, and hopefully made even a small impact on their lives, because I know without a doubt they made an impact on mine.

One night, we got to experience church in a way I will never forget. There was a big truck parked outside on the street with speakers playing worship music, and people gathered all around praising the Lord. Right there in the middle of the street, surrounded by so little, people were singing, dancing, worshiping, and praising Jesus with everything they had.

To look around and see people who have so little by the world’s standards, yet are so incredibly grateful for the blessings they do have, was so humbling. They praised Him so boldly and so joyfully. Their circumstances did not determine their gratitude or their faith.

It made me realize just how incredibly blessed I am and how so many of the things I consider “problems” really aren’t problems at all. We take so much for granted every single day, and sometimes it takes stepping outside of our own little world to realize just how much God has blessed us with.

This week was beautiful, heartbreaking, humbling, joyful, and incredibly bittersweet all at once. I went there hoping to serve others, but I came home feeling like they gave me so much more than I could have ever given them.

Please continue to pray for the people of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Pray for their health, their families, their communities, and that they continue to feel the love and presence of Jesus through every circumstance.

I left a piece of my heart there, and I already cannot wait for the day I get to go back. 🇩🇴🤍

To the people I was blessed enough to serve, I thank you. You owe me nothing, I am grateful you felt safe enough to allow me to care for you. My heart is so full.
I am over the moon about coming back to give back to the people of DR & Haiti because I GET to do this. I’ll say it again, I GET to do it with humility, compassion, vulnerability and grace.
Thank you to everyone’s support for making this trip possible, without you I wouldn’t have gotten this beautiful opportunity. once again i am overwhelmed with humility, gratitude, & love. i go on this mission with the intention to serve & pour into others, yet my heart is overflowing !! forever grateful the Lord continues to use me, stretch me, & remind me what it means to serve 🤍🤓🙌🏽

What does it take to get from Punta Cana to a chiropractic mission trip on the border of Haiti/DR?

To get to this chiropractic mission trip with @chiromissions, I traveled from Punta Cana -> Santo Domingo -> Sosua -> Dajabon for about 25$ total.

A 3.5 hour bus ride.
A moto taxi through Santo Domingo.
Another 6 hour bus ride.
And my portable chiropractic table.

We spent the next week on the border of Haiti/DR as a group, delivering thousands of adjustments.

This was just Day 1 of the mission.

I look forward to sharing more videos highlighting what happens on a Chiropractic mission trip, and why more chiropractors/students should come serve.

This past week Dr. Morgan completed his 135th mission trip.

Our hearts are full. From factories to schools, prisons to military bases, we’ve been honored to serve thousands this past week, bringing care to people of all ages, even a 100 years young. Grateful for every connection, every adjustment, every story. Join us next time. Let’s keep the mission moving.

I went to dajabón and haití thinking i would be a blessing to these people bc i believe the more you’re blessed w the more you bless others. but now im in blessing debt bc they have no idea how they’ve blessed me and transformed my thinking 😭, only one word comes to mind and it’s GRATEFUL. the lives we live are a privilege and our problems are small so show gratitude bc it could all be so different. im grateful to touch the lives of so many bc i got all these blessings just to give it others anyway. i have faith and will work hard to bear the fruit of the seeds God has given me, i hope He continues to shine His light through me as i walk on this journey to help heal His people. Haití is a beautiful place w beautiful people & i was blessed to experience this w a fireeee🔥 group of people man and i can’t wait to serve w yall again! my heart is full, passion ignited and my mind is focused, mission 1 of many complete! 🤲🏽🇭🇹🇩🇴🫶🏽 taken in Ouanaminthe, Haiti by @chiromissions

Blessed and grateful is an understatement

Each and every single one of these trips has slowly but surely changed the way I view my life, the world around me, and this sacred profession of chiropractic. Each trip has taught me that it’s not what we give or how much we give, but what we receive from giving. That feeling of doing something right and with love and presence. These trips have taught me to be where my feet are and how to be fully in the present moment. Transformation happens through the body, not away from it. Love leads, and everything else follows. Thank you God for these gifts, for the ability to lead, for chiropractic, and for letting me serve something greater than just myself.

Mission trip #2!!!!

I thought I knew how special these trips were after my first one, but somehow this one meant even more.

There is no greater feeling than being surrounded by people who share the same heart for serving others and getting to use the gifts God has given us to make an impact. Every smile, every conversation, and every person we had the privilege of serving reminded me why I chose this path in the first place.

I came here hoping to pour into others, yet somehow left with my own cup overflowing. So incredibly grateful for the people I got to serve alongside, the memories we made, and a God who continues to remind me that this calling is so much bigger than myself.
