When you see our light, just know we’ve survived death by a thousand cuts.🤍

We stand on the shoulders of visionaries—generations of people, both known and unknown, whose courage, sacrifice and dreams live on within us.

Within the space of a year, Lionel and I have both lost our fathers. Grief, even when loss is expected, returns in waves. Yesterday, as we laid his father to rest, I felt the weight of what we’ve lost and the responsibility of what we carry forward.

We carry our last names with grief, pride and purpose. We carry visions that others have yet to see and most don’t fully understand. We carry the love that brought us into existence and an influence greater than ourselves.

To the original 'Kuntri' man… thank you for the foundations you laid, the lessons you left and the parts of yourself we’ll continue to carry with us.

For the light you see in us… will always and forever be, in part, solely theirs. 🤍 by @chisel02

Architecture shaped by landscape, light and climate.

Set into the Jamaican hillside, this residence is conceived as a series of layered volumes that open toward the surrounding landscape while creating moments of shade, privacy and connection throughout the home.

Warm timber screens, natural stone, deep overhangs and expansive glazing soften the clean contemporary geometry, while terraces and the infinity pool extend the architecture outward into the tropical setting.

From arrival to the more intimate moments within, the design balances permanence with openness—framing views, filtering sunlight and allowing indoor and outdoor living to exist as one continuous experience.

Designed by KUNTRIHOUSE Architecture.
Contemporary architecture rooted in the local Culture.

Culloden Private Residence
Designed by: KUNTRIHOUSE ARCHITECTURE.

Set into the lush hills of Culloden, Westmoreland, this private residence is designed to embrace its tropical landscape and expansive coastal views.

Layered terraces, warm timber accents, natural stone and generous glazing create a strong connection between interior living spaces and the surrounding landscape, while the elevated pool terrace becomes a quiet vantage point over Jamaica’s Southern coastline.

A contemporary Caribbean home shaped by light, landscape and view.
