@stephaniehansart is my favorite artist, period. She creates the most beautiful comic covers and stories, and the women that she paints are always so confident. Proud. Powerful.

My favorite comic cover to this day is the A-Force 1 1:100 Singularity by Hans. And my favorite interior art is the 1602 Angela miniseries by Hans. She’s part of the reason I still read comics today.

She doesn’t come to the US often, but I found out she was going to NYCC this past October. My amazing husband bought a commission from her for me, and of course, I wanted her to paint my favorite female character, Admiral Ar’alani💙

Thank you @bookscommatip for picking her up and sending her to me, and for dealing with the intricate shipping and storage process. I couldn’t have done this without you!

I just received this today from my husband as my Christmas present, and I’m floored by how beautiful it is, and how she put in absolutely everything I asked😭💙

Thank y’all so, so much🥹

Happy October! Needed to take a photo of my first Topps Star Wars sketch card. Art by @dovemchargue 🖤💚🖤💚

Star Wars cards are a new rabbit hole I’m getting into😂 But focusing on Andor/Rogue One! And don’t worry, pin photos will not be going away. Got some this past month I can’t wait to take good photos of.

If y’all collect the cards, lmk what characters! Super interested in hearing what’s in your binders👀

Had a great time trooping today💚🖤@rebelscumconofficial must be one of the best cons I’ve been too. Wonderful community and saw so many familiar faces! Everyone I met was a dream, got a citation from Dolores, and taking photos with Denise Gough and John Boyega in my DT was a blast. Small photo dump all in cosplay (sorry I only know two poses)😂

“Luke… Help me take this mask off.”
“But you’ll die.”
“Nothing can stop that now. Just for once, let me look on you with my own eyes.”

I know I haven’t posted yet this year, but nothing quite gets me in the spirit like Star Wars day.

The past 12 months have been hard. Really hard. Between that and my job/obligations, it’s left little time for pin photography, making cosplays, and writing.

But one thing that is constantly bringing me joy is the community. It’s truly a bright spot and something that is deeply appreciated and needed. And soon I’ll finally be able to get into it again😭💙

This is a more personal photo for me. The first Star Wars item I ever bought was a Darth Vader print that I thought was pretty (in the background of the photo). The most recent pin I’ve gotten was this Vader pin from Pinchantress, and I couldn’t believe the similarities in color tones. I chose Leia’s theme because honestly, sometimes it’s just really what I need to hear.

May warrior’s fortune be ever in your favor.
And, may the force be with you. Always.

Hountyrr, my Lolth-sworn circle of spores druid, a beautiful commission from @enchantedstudioco 💙

My first DnD campaign has come to a close, after playing for more than a year as Andrasta and defeating Strahd. We decided to start a new campaign and shortly after, @enchantedstudioco opened up her commissions and I just had to ask for my new character. I’ve been a fan of her watercolors for years, and her prints line an entire wall😂

My request was something that required a lot of creativity from the artist, merging druid and drow armor together. And it came together better than I could’ve imagined. The symbol of Lolth on her belt, zurkhwood as the material on her arms, making up her sun goggles, and her quarterstaff. Fire lichen (underdark mushroom) lines her shoulders instead of the traditional druid leaves. And in her staff is her lil baby phase spider, Squishy🥹

Thank you so much @enchantedstudioco 💙 couldn’t be happier with her!

Dungeons and Dragons has a drow name table, so I took from that. Prefix “Houn” meant magic, ring, and staff. And the suffix “Tyrr” meant dagger, poison, poisoner, and scorpion. Chaotic neutral.

“I’m free. Truly free”

Beautiful and heartfelt pin by @pinchantress 💙 This scene tears me up in every playthrough.

I took this photo on my dragon background because I like the reminder that this game is part of DnD, and that anyone can make their own characters and stories that resonate with them. I’ve found so much fun and creativity with a campaign this past year, and I encourage anyone thinking about joining a gaming group to give it a shot💙

“I will follow the flame.”

🔥Andrasta, Hellknight Paladin🔥

This gorgeous art was done by the incredible @dr_brynn for my character art in a DnD campaign I’ve been playing in for nearly a year. My character and her bicorn look INSANE, and I can’t thank Brynn enough for bringing her to life.

So, a bit of backstory. I’ve never played DnD before this, but after playing BG3, I was really interested, found some friends that were about to start a Curse of Strahd campaign, and joined in. (Great campaign to start on, iykyk😅).

Since I feel like I’m a chaotic good person and I have this weird condition of playing characters in BG3 that are exactly like me over and over again, I decided to just go out there and play a lawful evil character. Andrasta is a hellknight, an oath of conquest paladin, and I feel like a badass every time I play her💚 I’ve never made a character with such an extensive backstory before. I just really enjoy playing her, it’s been a fun and unique experience.

After I leveled up enough, I got a paladin spell called Find Steed. I used it to summon my bicorn Ruth (short for Ruthless Damnation), Andrasta’s loyal warhorse🥹

The end of the campaign is near, as we attempt to kill Strahd once and for all. Wish us luck please😅 and if you play DnD, please lmk what campaigns you’ve played in the comments! Really curious👀

I normally don’t post about trips, but I had to make one for my first book con. I’ve been to so many comic cons I can’t keep count, but this was a whole new and incredible experience. I went to @villainsandvixens over the weekend (a romantasy book con) and met over 30 authors, and discovered so many new stories I can’t wait to read.
Most of my books are paperback but I did splurge on the @kalistaneith Invoking the Blood series, and had a fun convo with @mahleandmadison after I thought about the Frostbound Court SE for an hour but couldn’t help myself on that either😂💙
I can’t tag every author I bought from or talked to because there’s simply too many, but if anyone has questions about the books in these photos lmk and I’m happy to give you all the info.
But a short list of things I learned from the con:
1. There are a lot of cool people that bring incredibly wholesome experiences to book cons.
2. I’ve finally learned to stop judging myself for what I like to read and just be happy with it.
3. Rolling totes are HIGHLY recommended by my still sore shoulders😂
4. Be prepared to make friends. Some really wonderful friends🥹💙

May the force be with y’all. Thanks for a great weekend💙 by @chisspins

✨God’s Favorite Princess✨

1200 hours into Baldur’s Gate 3, and Shadowheart is the only origin character I’ve played. Her story is so beautiful and intricate, and @jenniferjenglish voice is perfect for this character. In the process of making a dark justiciar cosplay💜 Love this pin from @pinchantress
