Proud moment for our Triple Threat family! 🎭Our Vice-Chancellor Professor Simeon Dagkas pictured with the cast of The Great British Bake Off Musical at the beautiful Pavilion Theatre — celebrating the extraordinary talent, ambition and professionalism of students on our unique Triple Threat course.Widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading industry-connected Musical Theatre programmes, this production showcased exactly what happens when creativity, training and opportunity come together. 💫Across six performances we thrilled more than 1,500 audience members, while social media coverage reached over half a million people — including comparisons with West End productions. 🍰🎶🌟Huge thanks to WTM for their incredible support, to Course Leader Karen Howard, MA, the Triple Threat Office, and to every tutor, creative and technical specialist whose encouragement, expertise and hard work helped bring this production to life throughout the year.Most of all, congratulations to our phenomenal cast and creative teams — the future of the industry is looking very bright indeed. TT Open Day Success!On Saturday 20th June as part of the wider university open day, course leaders and performers alike from the triple threat course gathered to deliver a brilliant presentation and showcase of our course! There was information presented by our course leader Karen Howard giving unique insight and perspectives into how our course runs being extremely well received by a packed studio of prospective students and parents. Additionally, current students and graduates performed a showcase of musical theatre repertoire across a myriad of styles and genres. We give a massive thank you and congratulations to those involved: Kim, Stanley, Megan, Lewy, Amelie, Henry and Sarbia. Current third year soon to be graduate, Stanley, also accompanied our students in their vocal presentations.Open days are a fantastic opportunity to gain further insight into our course, with talks from current lectures and department heads and complimentary performances from current students, you get a glimpse into life as a triple threat musical theatre student here at Chichester.
