WE ARE OUR ANCESTORS!
We cannot continue with business as usual.
Religion is a big problem in Africa. The reason why Nigerians are quick to move on after any kidnapping or terrorits attack is because of religion, especially Christianity.
We have been litteraly groomed since we were kids to not care about each other without knowing it.
So goes the saying “me and my god”.
No matter how many times the terrorists kidnaps or unalive people, Nigerians quickly move on.
What do you expect, because it is "them and their god"
We need to start critically thinking, not emotional thinking
We have been mentally individualized due to colonization.
We need to start having the hard conversation and telling ourselves the truth! by @chizanomaly

Creating and publishing African inspired stories is not only about the wonderful art, remarkable history, amazing cultures, African concepts or the African lore and mythology.

It is also about breaking decades of stereotypes and propagandas put on Africa.

A very necessary discussion with Dr Afrodesia McCannon _desia_ at our previous visit to New York University

Creating and publishing African inspired stories is not only about the wonderful art, remarkable history, amazing cultures, African concepts or the African lore and mythology.
It is also about breaking decades of stereotypes about Africa.

Stereotypes that has cast the wrong light on the continent.
As African storytellers i believe we have a sacred duty to restore and correct the false narrative cast on the continent.

Teaching the truth through fiction, fantasy and entertainment adds that special ingredient to our books. by @chizanomaly
