After getting some crazy quotes for chrome & powder coat chrome i was attempting powder chrome myself, used Devcon & JB weld as fillers but it didn’t survive the pre heat, cracked in a few spots, so it got fixed with pink bondo and rattle canned for now, summers too short by @chizzelrock

1947 Triumph Tiger running day 2, head gasket got puffy (loose head) re- torqued that, gearbox stuck in limbo pulled out cam plate tensioner and it fixed it self ? Put the mufflers on and strapped it down(almost fell over) oh ya sounding sweet by @chizzelrock

Finally ! I’ve had about 4 pre units for like 15 years first one I’ve got running, 1947 Tiger T 100, this is the bike that started my addiction seen it in my dads old Triumphs in America book, to me one of the best 👌 by @chizzelrock

Had a minor disaster with the 1947 Chief, guess I was a little tight behind the sprocket then after fixin that cracked and dicked the threads on the cover 😵‍💫 I was down and half way out ! but one call to #kleinmachineandweld and I was back in business ! Thanks man by @chizzelrock

Got a little done on the 47 chief, exhaust welded & wrapped, made oil lines & plug wires, carved up some fins to suck carb in tighter, now finish wiring and see what happens by @chizzelrock

Finally got the 1947 chief cylinders back sleeved to STD, I put seals on intake valves and lightened up the exhaust, divorced gearbox, got a fancy clutch kit, switched to a CV carb, upgraded to 12 volt w/electronic ignition ! Yabba Dabba Do ! by @chizzelrock
