We’re nominated for an Emmy!

Congratulations @tylerstrickland and the whole John Candy: I Like Me team for the five (!!!) total nominations 🥹🏆💛

Especially proud to have orchestrated on this one with the @joymusichouse team, and work with the warm music of @tylerstrickland & additional by @chknight ✍🏼✨🎶

It’s been so wonderful hearing it live in the last few months with full orchestras to string quartets & french horn.

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Had a wonderful time in Telluride, CO for my first @mountainfilm! So grateful to @griffpost, @tgrtoddjones, and @m_casperson for having me along for the ride! Can’t think of a better place for THE LOST CACHE to make its premiere. Look for it on the festival circuit over the next several months!

While at #Mountainfilm, I saw some great films, met some new friends, and got to spend time with my sister @jennifer.k.nassar, @sisteryarrow, and @yonderism!

I was born in Colorado and it’s always fun to get back and enjoy the beautiful weather and terrain!

Had two of the most fun and fulfilling weeks I’ve ever had as a composer/musician working in the TV/Film world. A dream come true! Can’t thank @moceanworker enough for bringing me on board this project. No details to give yet, but incredible work by all those involved including:

@cathjoymusic
@doraymekim
@aydaakbal (“PIANUR!!!”)
@sethcrail
And everyone at @joymusichouse

@timbre_flux for his work behind the board and good vibes

@rosecolorednoise for her key commands and so much more!

The amazing players who only have an “A game” to bring including:

@luisconte @wolf_drums @losangelesminerals @davebaby9000 @timlefev and so many more!

And @jamestsale1967, whose calm demeanor, sense of humor, and magic wand kept everyone feeling good and on time!

And one more huge shout out and hug to Adam Dorn aka Mocean Worker, who is not only “Tres Tres Chic” but is also one of the most talented people I know and the definition of a true mensch! Love you brother! taken in Los Angeles, California by @chknight

@tylerstrickland JOHN CANDY: I LIKE ME is out now on @primevideo!

What an absolute treat it was to score this film. If you’re human, you’ll laugh, and you’ll cry… Watch it with friends and family this weekend! (Which I’m also told is Canadian Thanksgiving)

So grateful to our director Colin Hanks, and producers @captstubin @glenzipper @maximumeffort @vancityreynolds @sreid2 @briedanoh and especially @chriscandy4ever @therealjencandy for allowing us to celebrate your incredible dad. ❤️

Soundtrack coming soon!

One year ago, On September 9, 2024, our 17-year-old daughter, Evie, was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Evie underwent a four-month course of immunochemotherapy in Westchester, NY. Her final treatment took place on December 24, 2024, and we are overjoyed to share that she is now cancer-free!

Throughout her treatment, Evie showed remarkable courage and an unwavering joy for life, and even managed to finish her college applications. She was accepted to Whitman College with a generous scholarship and will begin in 2026 after a gap year to pursue her artistic passions. We’re incredibly proud of her and grateful to all who supported us. 🙏🏼 ❤️
