After eight months my internship with the Phoenix Suns has come to an end. Working with this organization throughout this past school year has taught me how to balance 30-40 work weeks alongside my classes and other commitments, communicate effectively with my team, and how to work in a fast-paced environment.

Day in and day out I have continued to improve my skills within event operations, guest services, and my communication skills overall. Not only have I had the opportunity to work the Phoenix Suns season but I also was able to work concerts, college basketball tournaments, events such as WWE Smackdown and Disney on Ice, part of the Phoenix Mercury season, and the NCAA Women’s Final Four.

Throughout these events I have gained extensive knowledge on the process and set up of a GA lot, created trainings for part time members, learned how to work with corporate partners, and many more valuable skills that will elevate my skillset moving forward.

I’m grateful for the friends and family who have supported me and uplifted me throughout this part of my career as this experience has been such an important part of my growth within the industry. In addition, to the people I got to work alongside throughout this experience I can’t thank you enough for your guidance and kindness you’ve shown me, it has never gone unnoticed.

This experience is something I will never forget and I am so thankful to have had throughout my time in college. Throughout the first part of the summer, I’m excited to continue working part-time with the organization to better my skills within the guest services department and work alongside some of the best! Looking forward to what comes next!👀🏈 taken in Mortgage Matchup Center by @chloe._gordon
