national gymnastics day💜

If I told you the whole journey has been sunshine and rainbows I’d be lying, it’s never been easy but that makes the rewards of it so much more special, instead of giving up when things get hard it gives me motivation to be the best version of myself. It’s taught me to celebrate the little victories and big wins, but it’s also put people in my life that celebrate all my successes no matter the size. I would have never made it as far as I have without the endless support from my teammates and coach’s, it hasn’t just given me friends but a 2nd family I can turn to for all things beyond gymnastics. Through the hard practices, bad meets, ruts I didn’t know it was possible to get out of, set backs, mental blocks, and everything in between my teammates and coach’s have been there to pick up the pieces for me. This sport hasn’t just taken up my whole life but it’s now turned into most of who I am. Behind the fun parts that everyone gets to see like traveling and sparkly Leo’s it goes deeper than that for me. It’s taught me life lessons I wouldn’t have learned anywhere else, and friendships I’ll carry beyond my gymnastics career. I never will know a life without it❤️‍🩹 #nationalgymnasticsday by @chloe.mitchell617
