4 years of marriage and this year I think was the best yet (I say that every year haha sorry).
Every year always will have hard parts, but John makes everything easy. About a month after our third anniversary last year, I got shingles and my car broke down and John took care of me while writing his thesis and working full time. He brought me every meal and was there to take care of me every minute he could. He also scheduled everything to get my car fixed.
I got to surprise John with a trip to NYC for his birthday in August which has been at the top of his bucket list for a while! He saw his first broadway show, ate some amazing food, and did everything tourists love!
We moved houses end of August and met some new stray cat neighbors living in our shed. John built a shelter to care for our new stray kitty neighbors and he still gives them food and water everyday. It inspired us to want to foster which lead to this year’s best surprise yet, Mr. Chestnut! He has made our home so fun and loud (he meows for food a lot, but he’s still losing weight, so do not fret).
John graduated with his Masters degree in wildlife and wildlands conservation this last April! I am so proud of him and so excited for our next adventure.
John is such a special person and I’m so grateful for his love! Happy four years, John! I am so lucky to be your wife. by @chloe.stromberg

4 years ago, we lost my amazing Dad to cancer.
To put it into a few words, he was one of a kind. My Dad changed so many people’s lives including mine. He was the best dad, coach, bishop, boss, and honestly, the best person.
I could talk and write about him forever, but just know I feel immensely proud to be the daughter of Bryan Brockbank. Love you, Dad. by @chloe.stromberg

My sweet mommy’s birthday is today 💌
She has been my best friend since birth. She is my biggest inspiration, supporter, and my best friend. I’m so grateful for all the lessons she has taught me and I continue to learn from her everyday. God knew I needed a mom like her. I love you, mommy! Happy birthday. by @chloe.stromberg

3 years of sweet, blissful marriage with the love of my life.
This last year of marriage, we had a lot of exciting things happen! John and I traveled to Europe and saw so many amazing things! It was the best trip EVER! I’m very grateful we got to go together!
Right after we got home, John started school up again and he’s getting his Masters degree in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation. Now he only has 1 (hopefully) semester left! Woohoo! I’m so sorry proud of him. We are still living in our same tiny house in Provo and we love it (usually).
In true Chloe fashion, I’m working 2 jobs, but I love being busy and working hard so John can focus on his schooling. We are busy bees but very happy :)!

My Dad left me a voicemail a few weeks before he passed away, trying to come up with more ideas for my mom’s birthday gifts. Even though he was in so much pain and sometimes couldn’t remember family members’ names, his first thought—while my mom ran into CVS to grab his meds—was still about her and what else he could do to make her day special. That’s just who he was.
It’s been three years without my sweet dad. A few times a year, I watch a video he left me before he passed. In it, he tells me over and over how proud he is of me. I really hope he still is.
I love you and miss you so much, Dad. You fought the hardest fight, and I know you’re Mom’s guardian angel now. I’m so grateful to have you as my dad. by @chloe.stromberg
