1 year. 1 year since Carson Hicks gained his angel wings. I never thought I would have to live life without him being just a phone call away. I will never forget our last deep talk when he told me not to take a single second for granted, and I’m so thankful that during that last month I didn’t. He loved all things cattle and rodeo and his dog but most of all he loved his family and his beautiful fiancé, @taeler_schepp ,and I don’t doubt for one moment that if I asked him to do something for me, he would. No questions asked. He is mine and my brothers biggest fan and you could count on him blowing out our birthday candles every year. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why God took him away from a family that loved him so much so soon, but the only reason I can think of is because he was too good to be in a world this cruel.

Carson,
I love you so much and I hope I told you that enough. I dream of the day I get to hug you but until then I’ll just look for you in the sunsets. To everyone else you are my cousin but to me you are the best big brother any girl could ask for and my hero. But ya know, hero’s are forgettable but you, Carson Bradley, are more than a hero…you’re a legend and legends are forever🤍 by @chloe.willis7
