‘The magic of trial & the torture of error’

A phrase that always pops into my head is
‘happy accident’ 🥲
🤞to hoping for perfect-imperfections and constantly improving because of them…

Lucky Fruity Slots ! 🍒💠✨
#REPOST never posted a reel before & I couldn’t deal with the safe areas absolutely killing it 🫣🫠😂

It’s been a classic quietish January freelancing so please reach out if you have any key art/design/illustration projects !

Brushing off the very small rusty after effects skills I have… safe to say the feelings it brings have not changed 😂

Optical Illusionz🔮💎📼

Things are not always as they seem🪩

I looove drawing chrome from scratch. And I’ve been kinda doing this one off and on since the last series of stranger things 🤪 obsessed with chromatic aberration ♦️🔷🔸 scampy bits in the second pic. by @chloe__cairns

Learnt so much on the second leg of my trip in Canada about the indigenous people. Bison, also referred to as Buffalo, were crucial for survival. But the Bison nearly became extinct after the white man started to hunt them too. Mostly for the hides, and meat. But also to control and starve the indigenous people.

Also learning to let go of a style and point of perfection. It’s not just about having every perfect piece but drawing from inspiration and enjoying it and just doiiin stuff. taken in Elk Island National Park by @chloe__cairns

Riso Dreams 🔮☁️🕯
For ages now I’ve been been obsessed with risograph prints.

I’m not sure where ‘riso dreams’ came from but it’s obviously floating around up there. Trying to focus less on obsessing over the finish, texture and artworking side of things and just make stuff!

Procreate tells me this took 9hours and 40 minutes, so not bad going from scamp to final. (Let’s not add up the time in between cleaning up ‘lines and dots’ 🤪 I’m working on the ‘is it done’ obsession)
