Oren, @rottinginvoid and I went on a hike to find @eliswishingtree the other week.

This is such a magical healing/grieving space created by @irihapetiturehu

Oren is such an arty little guy, he really got into it, loved creating his own sun catcher and making his art on a rock. He was trying to think of what wish he wanted to put in the wishing jar. He decided to wish for cancer to be cured 🥺💕.

For me, there is not a day that goes by I don’t think about Tom or something I want to text him/chat about, but can’t. Tom was the most loyal and consistent friend for nearly two decades.

Everything I went through last year, after my life fell apart, for over 8 months he was the one person that messaged me every. single. day.

“I’ll keep checking in if it’s OK Chlo”, even when I was in such a bad place I sometimes didn’t text back for days on end, he never gave up on me, never got mad, never made it about him.

He knew I was in such a dark place and struggling. Those that are no stranger to that dark place, they have a unique level of empathy, they don’t want others to ever sit alone in that darkness.

The FB post I made in June explaining all that happened, I didn’t name friends, but think it’s very clear Tom was one of the pivotal friends I was thanking. This text I sent him in December makes it very clear what I thought and that this isn’t just someone saying “he was such a great guy” after someone’s passed. (I’ll add what I’m referring to here for those that don’t have me on FB).

By this time in late June it was then me checking in on him every day, but unfortunately Tom’s always been one to help everyone else, not great at accepting help himself or even accepting he deserved it 😓💔 but he did thank me. A week later he was gone 💔

I felt closer to Tom in this space 🥺 and that was so special as sometimes he feels so painfully far away and impossible to reach that I can’t comprehend this reality 😢. I have the ocean, and now I have this sacred magical place as well so thank you for this beautiful space you’ve created from your own grief @irihapetiturehu

I couldn’t work out how to set the photo timer for any more than 5 seconds, so took 5 photos of my ass trying to get up on the log fast enough before we got this one.

Very specific dress code of double split skirts with lace trim, mesh tops, boots and long hair… Only me and @doyouknowmadmax got the memo but 🤷‍♀️🤣

Trying to find pics of the last time seeing Black Sabbath live. Could only find this pic of @squidbillygg and I from that night.

So many laughs from that night, before, after and during the show. Grant was happy drunk and I’m just a menace sober anyway, we kept randomly calling out “Sharon!” And “Oh Lord Yeah!” then pissing ourselves laughing. Yeah you had to be there. 🤣

A little over 6 months ago, I’d never done a dance class in my life.

Signed up on a whim, and met this beautiful community of women, each one so special and unique in her own way.

Being a heavy metal kid, I’d never watched much dance or considered much about counts or choreography being a thing. Not sure if I thought people just rocked up and started dancing or something 🤷‍♀️🤣.

I did literally sign up on a whim right before camp started, as I’d been bed ridden a week with the flu, and was just desperate to move my body every which way.

Quickly discovered it’s way harder and way more athletic than you think, but so rewarding when you put in the work and you see improvement.

Here’s a bit of my first ever solo with Amoungst Queens.
