Chloe & Cate was never supposed to be a “business”…

It started with me sitting on my phone, refreshing an Instagram page—trying (and failing 😅) to snag smocked outfits before they sold out.

Because as a mom, I didn’t have time to:
Drive across town
Dig through racks
Or spend hours searching

I just wanted cute, classic children’s clothes… quickly.

But when I asked a local consignment boutique owner why she didn’t post more online, she said it was “too much of a headache.”

And I remember thinking…

Wait… this is the ONLY way I can shop.

And I knew I couldn’t be the only one.

So I couldn’t shake the idea: What if there was an easier way for moms to shop secondhand children’s boutique clothes… without the stress?

So I started small.
Just an Instagram account
A few pieces
And a whole lot of figuring it out as I went

No big launch. No perfect plan.

Just wanting a way to make it easier for moms to shop beautiful, boutique-quality kids clothes—without the hassle.

A little peak into what a morning looks like before starting my work day either for Chloe and Cate or my part time corporate job.

No morning is the same having 3 kids under 6. My youngest gets up between 5-6 am so some mornings I’m up before him and others I’m not.

Before kids I worked out 3x a week and did at least 1 5 am class…maybe I’ll be that version of me one day again but for now this is my normal

I love checking off one house thing either starting laundry or emptying the dishwasher to give me a quick win for the day. So even if that all I get done that day around the house that’s a win.
