dear softball
you have been the biggest blessing in my life. from t-ball to middle school to travel to high school and then college. you have blessed me with life long friends that i will forever be grateful for and memories that will last me a lifetime. the lessons i was taught on the field have made me into the person i am today. i got to play this amazing game for 17 years. i will forever miss being on the field with every girl i have played with. my coaches along the way will always be people i know i can go to and talk about when i have any problems or just want to catch up with.

cage organization, i have no words for what you did for me and my family the 8 years i played for you. the people i met are some of the best i’ve ever known and the girls i played with will always hold a special place in my heart. the coaches are some of the most selfless people i’ve ever met and their families are just like them. the places i went with cage were both far and near. i will always cherish those late nights and long days of ball playing. i hope one day i can coach for cage and spend endless summer nights at softball fields with girls who love the game as i do.

brewton-parker, you were a place i never saw myself ending up at but i am so glad i did. the past four years have been some of the best ever. i will miss the 6 am runnings and 3 am bus rides back from mississippi. i found a home at bpc and people that will be family for the rest of my life. i met my best friends here and got to spend 4 more years playing this amazing sport. bpc i cannot thank you enough for what you’ve given me.

to every girl i ever took the field with. i want to thank you for being part of my journey and making so many memories. i wish the best for my cage girls and the girls here at bpc. keep playing your hearts out and cherish every moment. i love you guys so much and will always be cheering you on!!
