i spent all day tuesday writing and recording this song. emily came to my place that night and made up the vocal harmonies and a bunch of the dialogue on the spot. they are goated and i wouldn’t have finished this without them. they also made the video which rules. merry christmas everyone

hi!!! so today is my 23rd birthday so i just wanted to post about me being trans. so yeah i’m trans and this is the post. yay!!!!! feels good to say :) u can call me chloe :)))) she/her :)))) in the last year a a lot of shit in my life has changed and as shit broke down around me i realized that i had been repressing a fundamental aspect of myself for years and years and years, to the point where i was pretty much unable to be present in my own life anymore. in the last like 7 months though, since i came out to myself and to my friends, i started feeling things again, the type of deep feeling that i forgot i could even do. so anyway idk. shoutout to all my queer/trans friends, all of whom accepted me as i was and with open arms, and shoutout to my cis friends who have all been so cool and supportive :)) okay i’ve rambled on long enough i guess. so again u can call me chloe. she/her. if u have an issue with this then just unfollow me plz and lmk so i can block u. i don’t have time to waste on that shit. the rest of y’all ill see around :)) okay cool that’s all i have to say!!!!!!!!

Video I found on my phone, dated August 30, 2017. I have no memory of why this might exist.

Unreversed, the voices say:
Voice 1: You're one of us.
Voice 2: Thank you.
Voice 3: (I can't tell, but possibly:) Christ.
Voice 4: Who will be the betrayer? The type A, Lolita (?, unsure if it's actually "lolita" but that's what it sounds like to me)

This is completely real. I'm not trying to initiate an ARG or anything, I just found a weird video on my phone that I think is kinda cool. My mom called it "terrifying". Zooming way in on something and reversing audio both seem like things I would have done at the time. I find it a little eerie, though, because I have no memory of making it.

Due to the length and the look of the video, @cartertpenny suggested that it might be a snapchat video. I think he's right. The file name (reversed-746106FC-FE64-4FC3-99D1-C7D4E14346B0) seems in line with the file names of other snapchat videos I have downloaded onto my phone.

So the major mysteries to me are:
1. Where was this filmed? I was on vacation in Florida around this time, but I'm not sure if I was there on this exact day. I have no other pictures from the trip.
2. What show/movie is the dialogue from? I spent a little while trying to find a script online that matches these words, but I couldn't find anything.
3. What is the video of? It looks both like and unlike a cloud to me. It really could be anything, and I don't think I'll be able to figure it out, since no uncropped version of the video exists.

I hope you find this at least mildly compelling. It has consumed my thoughts all day. by @chloefpenny
