I have been able to steal a camera from Canon for the week! So i thought I’d upload some of the shots i’m gonna grab with it🫶🏻 Using the Canon R6 with a RF 50mm lens (🤤), Dane and i took a quick trip to Calked Abbey (with our @nationaltrust memberships of course). It was pretty busy so i didn’t get a lot of pictures but it was fun to have a play with the camera (and pretend it was actually mine)I hope to take some more pictures over the next week so stay tuned ☺️#canon #canonr6photography #canonemea #photography #calkeabbey #nationaltrust by @chloeinpost

✨movies of the weeeeek✨Transformers One 3.5/5⭐️A very nostalgic film for the people who grew up with Transformers. However, it does feel like a film more for kids. The humour is very cheesy and definitely is aimed towards a younger audience. I liked this film but i probably wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it again, i would rather stick to the originals :)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 5/5⭐️Okay hear me out: this is my favourite movie of the year. That is a big statement but i genuinely enjoyed this movie so much - so much that I’ve watched it twice in a week lol. This film is so nostalgic and there are so many aspects of the film that reflect the first one so well. *spoilers* the wedding scene is my favourite part of the whole movie for obvious reasons ;) by @chloeinpost

This weeks theme is Autumn Series! My favourites at this time of year✨🔸gilmore girls (2000-2007) - had to be on the list of courseee this show gives you major downtown girl autumn vibes that were so popular last year!🔸heartstopper (2022-present) - a really cosy series, especially the first one with the time of going back to school and high school romances🔸end of the f**king world (2017-2019)- quirky and dark show, i feel like the first season was so intriguing (sadly the second not so much)🔸haunting of hill house (2018)- of course there has to be a haunting show and this is my favourite out of all of the hauntings🔸wednesday (2022-present) - an obvious candidate too! Wednesday captures those halloween vibes we’re all excited for throughout October🔸american horror story (2011-present) - my favourite halloween/horror show!! The first season is very autumnal and i remember dressing as tate for halloween when i was younger!🔸stranger things (2016-2025)- my favourite show of all time had to make the list🤭 i think this show is brilliant and can be watched all year round! The odeon limitless is back babyyyy!Because of this i want to be going to watch the latest movies every week and then we’ll reflect on what i though about them at the end of the week✨Speak No Evil - 4/5⭐️James Mcavoy’s acting will never ever disappoint, this movie surely showcases the psychological impact he has on other characters perfectly. I think a remake of a foreign film to fit western viewers can be super tricky if the original is good but this film made that look easyyyyy. Only down to it is i did find it to be a slow burner but this isn’t always a bad thing!Joker: Folie à Deux - 2/5⭐️I’m gonna be honest i understand why people are so disappointed in this movie. I think as a stand alone it’s okay but when you compare it to Joker (2019) it feels like a massive let down. The musical moments are good and Gaga will always put on a show! But at the same time it kind of gave me Wonka vibes (sorry). It felt childish and kind of pathetic. The story is good but felt so long and the ending was meh. I understand focusing on Arthur Fleck and him “not being Joker” but I can’t help but think it feels cheap. The acting is incredible, Pheonix and Gaga are a perfect pair for the characters they play but that really only feels like one of the very few things i liked about this movie!Let me know if you’ve seen these films and what you think! Next week i’d like to see the new Transformers movie and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
