// Hi there!

There are a few new faces here (welcome!)
Here are a few personal highlights + career spotlights.
I am an events expert, success nerd + lover of life.

I've worked every major event on the Melbourne calendar as well as a whole lot of smaller, boutique experiences + festivals. I've done 1000s of weddings, celebrations, workshops, launches, trainings + retreats. I spent many years in the coaching space, both personally + professionally. I won the academic scholarship to my private girls school.

I love the unique privilege of taking someone's concept or creation or celebration + crafting it into an epic live event. It seems to be the perfect match for my particular passions + skills.

My first concert was Lionel Richie. My most recent concert was Ministry Of Sound. I grew up going to shows and restaurants and resorts. We were, and still are, a family that lives for experiences. My mum throws a spectacular dinner party + my dad initiates grand adventures.

My first official job was at McDonald's. And now I work creating + delivering other people's parties, experiences, unique moments + special events.

Hello again!

Chloe is a skilled & passionate freelance event professional with 30 years in the industry.

Having grown up dining out & travelling the world she understands really great hospitality.

In her 20s she studied & practiced as a transformational life coach and continues to apply those principles to all that she does.

During her 30s she brought her love of coaching & events together - creating life design programs & social clubs. As well as working with other coaches to deliver trainings, workshops & retreats.

In the last 5 years she had established herself as a go-to events expert, working on world class projects such as the Australian Open & the F1 Grand Prix.

Currently she brings her easy-going attitude & can-do expertise to private parties, branded activations, trainings & festivals.

Chloe believes that shared in-person experiences are tools essential to life. Helping promote celebration, belonging & positive change in today's predominantly on-line world.

In her down time she enjoys bathhouse culture, dance parties, exploring new cities & really good ambient lighting.

BACKYARD 5OTH 🎉 Yesterday we put on a pop up bar at a backyard family 50th birthday in this pretty suburban home. 40ish guests, firepit, bespoke host selected cocktails, and the teenagers all piled into the lounge watching the footy.

The hosts provided the booze. We brought the bar, glassware, skills & smiles. A great way to celebrate a milestone event without ever leaving the house!

~~~ COCKTAIL RECIPES (that I whipped up on the fly based on the ingredients they had bought) ~~~
🍸AVIATION (sweet, fresh & dry)
15ml good quality classic gin (@tanqueraygin
15ml Creme de Voilette (@giffard_liqueurs_syrups
15ml Maraschino liqueur (@luxardoofficial
15ml fresh lemon juice
• Pour into a shaker with ice, shake hard
• Pour into a pretty glass, ice included
• Garnish with a Maraschino Cherry + a drizzled teaspoon of syrup
🍸HUGO SPRITZ (a summer-y fav)
30ml good quality classic gin (@tanqueraygin
30ml elderflower liqueur (@stgermaindrinks
60ml Prosecco
60ml soda (@schweppesaus
• Pour gin & syrup into a tall or oversized wine glass
• Half fill with ice
• Top up with equal parts prosecco & soda (adjusting for the size of the glass)
• Garnish with a slice of citrus & some herbs (hosts provided lemon & mint)
~~~

// Next stop on the Summer Events Tour @melbfringe

First time I've been a part of this not-for-profit multi-venue arts extravaganza. We are so so lucky in Melbourne to have things like this as part of the fabric of our culture & cityscape.

I'm heading up the bar at the @meatmarketmelb which is a gorgeous heritage space with multiple shows each night & a yummy central courtyard. We are here for one more week.

Come visit!

// What a time! 11 days hosting the sponsors, judges, stewards, committee & special guests of the Horses In Action Blue Ribbon Competition at @melbourneroyalshow Working as part of an amazing extended team. Witnessing the absolute glamour of the judges. Learning all about the horse world. Early mornings. Late nights. Team dinners. Post-event drinks. Working alongside old event buddies & make new event friends.

I love the event world so much.
And I love that it loves me back.

One day rest and then onto @melbfringe

What a ride!
Spoiler, didnt win, but the whole journey was a win anyways 🏆

Biggest takeaway - its not about doing the thing, its about the person you become doing the thing

Feeling each part surface + each micro challenge along the way - including getting the flu just after being announced, to being the very last person to present + bursting into tears once it was all done.

My biggest fear was I would freeze + even though my heart was pounding + my mouth was dry I didn't forget anything + kept it together with usual Chloe charm. Even had a few moments of witnessing myself in the doing. I felt connected + got a huge cheer at the end 🙌

And I love this person I have become.
My inner performer is out of the box.

Thank you @clareelizabeth_dea for getting me up there 🫶 Your passion for performance + mentoring others onto the stage is such a gift!

Congrats winner @allyaurora_ + finalists @mrheartist + @vanessamaree_wingwoman We did it!

Thanks to the judges who choosing us + for sharing your own fk up stories @annaosherov @michelle_gardiner_au @public_figure_lifestyle @theigorv

I really get it now - failure is just part of the game. The more relaxed we are about that the easier everything gets to be.

Thank you to everyone in the room cheering me on + everyone who messaged from all over the world saying "you got this!" @jujujep @danidaniinsta @_elisewest @djmisskara @hazal_doruk_ @thechocolatepath @vivaciousbycata @iamkimpayne @breeejaz13 @mei.ouw @gardenofyoga @dani.arenas.167 @andisnelling and so many more!

Plus the whole @fuckupnights_melbourne team for organising + the community for supporting this local @fuckupnights event (and maybe even voting for me 🙃) @oz11 @collabwithher @

As someone who is usually the organiser, the facilitator, the cheerleader, it was a treat to be on the other side. To recognise the web of celebration + greatness all around me! 🕸️

I treasure you all!

I'm excited to see what happens next, to share my talk when the recording is available + decide what my next event creation will be.

For now integration, rest + knowledge of a job well done! ✌️ taken in 75 Reid St by @chloeprendergast.events
