POSTS STORIES REELS

Hello…

I’m Chloe and I write. ✍️

✒️ My poetry has been published by @blackboughpoetry icefloepress @mookychickmag @pinkplastichouse @feversofthemind @analogieslitmag and more

🎙️ I write and sing songs with my incredible partner in crime @andrewbatemusic as part of @saintsenaraband

🎭 I also write and perform plays and original audio dramas with @mothsanctuaryproductions – you may recognise me as ‘The Fourth Bride’ from our hugely popular Cheltenham Lit Crawl performance in 2023 and @derbydracula in 2025; or Madeline Usher from our Edgar Allan Poe-inspired show ‘Before The Fall’ at Cheltenham Literature Festival 2024

However you found your way here, welcome. Thanks for spending some time with me and my words. 📝

Music… 🎼

I’ve been singing since I could talk and was in a choir for almost my entire childhood, but I didn’t start making my own songs until 2020 when I teamed up with @andrewbatemusic to set some of my poems to music.

Already a talented songwriter himself, we started writing together during lockdown and quickly realised that our little experiment was turning into something special.

🎸 We made our live debut at Cheltenham Jazz Festival in 2022 and released our debut EP the following year

🥀 The title track, ‘Flowers On My Grave’ placed eighth in the @bluesandrootsradio International Song Contest in 2023 – and at the end of that year, @saintsenaraband were named Gloucestershire’s best band

🎙️ Our second EP, recorded at @audio_farm_studios and released in 2024, received rave reviews and earned us our very first print coverage from @bluesinbritain and the honour of being the first-ever MNPR Presents artist for @mnprmagazine – as well as radio airplay from @bbcintroducing @amazingradiouk @amazingradiousa @futurehitsradio @ukcountryradio and more

🕊️ I’m also incredibly honoured to have been likened to one of my idols @stevienicks in a review for our song ‘There’s A Storm Coming’

🎧 Find us at @saintsenaraband and on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer and all major streaming services.

Performance… ✨

I’m very proud to be a part of award-winning independent theatre company @mothsanctuaryproductions – where I write and perform on stage and on screen.

I’ve been with Moth Sanctuary since 2019 and have worked on productions including a dramatised reading of Angela Carter’s ‘The Company of Wolves’, which we won a @scenesaverhub award for; our original cabinet of curiosities, ‘Dr Sandy’s Gallery of Stories’; our most controversial work to date, ‘The King in Yellow’; our most well-attended show ever, ‘The Fourth Bride’ – a one-woman show which I wrote and performed; and ‘Before The Fall’, a gripping prequel to Edgar Allan Poe’s iconic story, ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’.

We’ve performed at Cheltenham Literature Festival nine times – and were selected to represent @cheltfestivals on the international stage as part of @litquake Lit Crawl Global in 2020. 🌍
