Hace tres semanas, Perlita dejó este mundo el 10 de mayo alrededor de las 12pm, rodeada de los que más quería. Su cuerpito no pudo más, y tuve que tomar la decisión más difícil de mi vida.

Le dije lo mucho que la quiero, le di las gracias por ser mi mejor compañera de vida, la mas leal, y por darme tanta felicidad estos 13 años. Y ahí, encima de mis brazos mientras me daba besitos, tomó su último aliento. Algo que me dolerá para siempre.

Lo que dicen de que ‘ese día las dos morimos pero solo una dejó de respirar’ es exactamente lo que siento. Un vacío y dolor en el corazón y alma insoportable.

Te quiero mi vida, mi gordi, mi perrita del alma. Te voy a querer y echar de menos por el resto de mis días. Ha sido un honor cuidarte y quererte, lo haría mil veces más si tuviera la oportunidad. Si hay algo después de esto, espero encontrarte allí. Cuida de tu hermanita desde allí que lo necesita. 🤍🐽🪽🕊️

Three weeks ago, Perlita left this world on May 10 around 12pm, surrounded by those she loved the most. Her little body couldn’t hold on any longer, and I had to make the hardest decision of my life.

I told her how much I love her, I thanked her for being my best companion in life, the most loyal one, and for giving me so much happiness over these 13 years. And right there, in my arms while she was giving me little kisses, she took her last breath. Something that will haunt me forever.
What people say “that day both of us died, but only one stopped breathing” is exactly what I feel. An unbearable emptiness and pain in my heart and soul.

I love you, my baby, my Perlis, my soul dog. I will love you and miss you for the rest of my days. It has been an honor to care for you and love you, I would do it a thousand times over if I had the chance. If there’s anything after this, I hope to find you there.
