ask me what it means to be a hoya nurse, and i’ll tell you.

nursing was the last thing on my mind, until i became a sick, disabled teen. it was then that i received the best care of my life, from nurses. they embodied an alluring spirit of compassion and grace, which heavily influenced my decision to enter the profession myself.

nursing isn’t just IVs and blood draws, it’s all encompassing. nurses witness and internalize life, death, and everything in between. and yet, there is no nurse quite like a hoya nurse.

graduating college is something i’ve always known i’d do, but that does not negate my excitement. georgetown nursing will always have my heart. #hoyasaxa
