£200 sat in my loft for WHAT?! 😂

I decided I wanted to declutter and organise our house AND make money while doing it… so off to Vinted I went.

Baby clothes selling? Smashed it. 👏

So here’s my Vinted selling tutorial with all the tips I’ve learnt for selling children’s clothes on Vinted, making the process quicker and staying organised when you’ve got LOTS of items to list.

My biggest tips:

📦 Sort everything into sizes before listing
📸 Take clear photos of the front, back, labels + any flaws
🔎 Use searchable keywords in your Vinted titles
📝 Have a copy-and-paste description ready for bulk listings
🏷️ Label your parcels clearly so you don’t mix up orders
📱 Screenshot your QR codes so drop-off is quick and easy
💷 Give yourself a system for separating sold from unsold items

I’ve also included my experience with InPost because I’ve had a few occasions where a locker opened and there were already somebody else’s parcels inside 😳 @inpost_uk ??? Luckily @vinted have you protected so you don’t lose out. HOWEVER I have heard of some people being scammed on some bigger, more expensive items. And the buyer is always protected more. So, be wary, film your packaging!

If you’ve got bags of outgrown children’s clothes sitting around waiting to be dealt with, this is your sign to get them listed.

Especially with Christmas coming up… why not make a bit of extra money from things you no longer need while giving someone else the chance to grab them for a fraction of the original price? 🤍

Would you sell your kids’ old clothes on Vinted or donate them?

And they’re gone. I sold all of my babies clothes on Vinted after hoarding them for three years.

I’m such a sentimental girl, I wear my heart on my sleeve and feel intensely. So when I filmed this at 3am after sobbing into fabric, I thought I would share my inner thoughts.

Being a mum has been life’s greatest gift. It has shaped and bended me in ways I can’t even begin to articulate. Every time I placed a piece of baby clothing into a bag for Vinted, so that another little boy somewhere can enjoy and use it for a fraction of the cost, I wasn’t just packing clothes. I was packing memories, man. 😔

I have a box in the attic of things I just CAN NOT part with. First outfits after they’re born, what they came home in… etc. oh, and their crusty umbilical cords. I’m the type of mum who will keep every tooth in a pot, too.

I feel relieved that I no longer have 400 kg of old clothes taking up space in my home but sad that I can’t hang on to them forever… sorting through this was heavy, and I felt a lot of reluctance.

It’s okay if you want to hang onto those memories, but it’s also just fine to bag them up and donate, sell, reuse. You lose a tiny version of them but in their place is this wonderful, bigger person. I definitely feel a sense of loss and sadness, but here’s to being organised and creating more memories.

Along the way I have learned so much about Vinted, I’ve gathered LOADS of tips and tricks from you guys here and I’m going to rustle up a video compiling EVERYTHING! So, if you yourself are ready to let go of the sleepsuits and baby grows, you can make yourself some pennies.

Love,

Chloe. taken in Shropshire by @chlowatton

Shaming mums for breastfeeding? I’m outraged. And you should be too. Women hating women, shame on you.

It’s hard enough, being a new mum, struggling to get out of the house. And then you have to worry about the men feeling awkward because you have to feed your newborn?

The video circulating is gross, and is misogynistic. Ladies, please understand that you are doing something incredible and that it is UK LAW!!!! To be able to breastfeed your baby in public. Please don’t hide away in toilets, remove yourself from the table to hide in a corner, cover yourself up with blankets (if you don’t want to)

It’s 2026 and I can’t believe that this shit still happens. I have been breastfeeding for almost 2 years now and here are some of the places I have fed, and have been very welcomed (and encouraged) by staff and public to do so:

@lidlgb @asda @mylittleplayplace @kiddos_kingdom_play @ntattinghampark @nandosuk @bellaitaliarestaurants @woodbridge_pub @telfordlibs @tuiuk planes, Arriva busses, beaches, parks, EVERYWHERE! NOWHERE IS OUT OF BOUNDS!

These opinions are vile, should be stamped out, and are not normal. MOST people and certainly all establishments here in the UK support babies being fed.

The capillaries in my eyes are fucking bursting, indeed. taken in Shropshire by @chlowatton

Renovating or decorating a house when you have children or have kids in your life? Think wisely before making these mistakes that are going to cost you time in cleaning and redecorating.

This is for the mums who are moving house, decorating for the first time or are giving their home a makeover but want to get it right. Leave your tips for other mums in the comments, I think all of us will live in machine washable tents in the end. 😂

1) matte wall paint. NOPE! Always go for a scrubbable option. I’m currently redecorating my hallway in @valsparpaintuk

2) textured anything. We used textured paint and the kids draw all over it and get their mucky hands all up in its business. This goes for textured or ribbed furnishings, too. What can I replace this with though?

3) high gloss kitchen cabinets. Our gorgeous @wren kitchen is now a wreck because these snacky kids fingers smear everywhere. Is this just the case for high gloss or do you experience it with matte / satin too? I wish we went for shaker doors but that seems like more crevices to clean.

4) white grout for flooring. It’s never white! This wheelbarrow incident happened the morning after I bleached the floor perfectly clean. Kids spill everything and trapse mud everywhere. Has anyone used a sealant successfully before??

5) thick pile carpets in a light colour. Ours are @eaton_square which is exceptional quality, but the spills and mess that comes with children means you are always cleaning up, flattening that pile. Picking playdough out of squishy, fluffy carpets is not for the faint hearted. We do have a @rugdoctoruk machine which is our lifeline in this household, but the machine is bulky and heavy, it is an Olympic sport trying to clean up whilst the kids hang off your ankles begging for a turn.

To be honest, this video could be a hour long. Because now that I have children my whole house is a shambolic state. No matter how much I clean and tidy, it’s no show home.

Equally I could chat about things I do rate in my home, maybe I should create another video sharing my holy grails?

Let us know in the comments if you think I missed anything vital ladies!!!!!

You found the solar eclipse underwhelming? Maybe you are missing the point… for me I had a lump in my throat.

The whole evening felt like a fever dream, a reminder that time exists and life is precious.

Most of us reading this won’t be here to witness the next one, my children will be in their mid to late 50s, if life is kind to them. Please be kind to them.

More importantly, I hugged my mum even tighter. Gosh, where is the timer to put a pause on this crazy, magical thing we call life?

I was lay on the children’s slide wrapped in blankets at midnight observing the meteor shower questioning what is life?

Abit deep for a Thursday morning… I hope you have a great day and remember to give your loved ones an extra hug today.

Cheap jeans that get rid of mum tum and make your bum look AMAZING? I found them! And the quality is unbelievable. I’m mid size, size 14.

Comment “jeans” and I’ll DM you a link straight away, no gatekeeping here my gal. 😮‍💨 also saved to my AUG highlight ❤️

hint: they’re not far off Primark pricing!!! Just call me a bargain hunter.

They’re from @marksandspencer which I was SO surprised about. I thought it was just for baby clothes and Nanny’s? Well I was wrong and this diva is finally getting back into fashion after 4 years of Primark leggings and baggy tops. Time to embrace the new mum body instead of hiding it in shame! Who’s with me? ALSO!!!!! Tell me your favourite fashion shops, especially if you’re a curvy gal like me, I know nothing but I’m about to learn 🤣🤣 taken in Shropshire by @chlowatton

If areolas offend you, switch off your phone. (Or get a grip, un respectfully) It is WORLD breastfeeding week and after almost 20 months of feeding my baby it is time to honour and celebrate the journey.

I couldn’t breastfeed my first. I had so much anxiety about him not getting enough and everyone’s advice was just “fed is best, give him formula”. That contributed to my post partumn depression. I felt like a failure. I couldn’t even have a “natural” birth and now I can’t breastfeed either because my brain is suffocating my every thought? That is where my thoughts were.

The second time around was harder. Tongue tie, split and cracked nipples, reoccurring mastitis and thrush. But I had a fire inside me and a strong determination. No weight gain. At first it was just getting to one week. Then a month, then six months. It’s hard to believe that I’m still feeding my little love almost two years later.

Everyone doubted me. “Oh you’re still breastfeeding?” And “how long will you do that for then?” - I know every mum gets these comments.

The truth is, it’s tough to push through the noise. And breastfeeding mums are very rarely celebrated, because it is seen as putting down those who choose to formula feed. Not at all, you and your baby are incredible no matter how you nourish them.

If you are struggling with feeding at the minute, know that there is so much support out there and you are absolutely incredible, keep pushing.

So apparently as you approach your 30s your mental health can go to pot and you can experience a quarter life crisis. That is exactly why I dissapeared for 6 weeks.

I spent the day away from my kids. Truly away. Not cleaning, catching up on errands or renovating but just sat in a pool in silence (which I’m so grateful for, it was 3 years over due and the first time we have entered a spa since our engagement 8 years ago.)

The silence triggered thoughts that had been buried under the laundry pile, the to do list, the bathtime routine and the toddler classes.

I think that when you become a mum, your whole world turns around. Identify shift, physical changes, demand of life completely evolves. I’ve always kept myself so busy as a mum, getting out every day doing something because my brain told me I’m not good enough if I don’t.

The past 6 weeks have had me questioning everything, from who I am, if I want to home educate or register my eldest to a primary school, should I continue with content creation as my career path or should I return to my old role before motherhood. Or, completely start over and go to university? Is studying in your 30s okay? Is my adhd assessment going to reveal a diagnosis or am I barking up the wrong tree? And even then, would I take the meds? Am I spending enough time with friends, family, husband… self!? And crikey I look like that?
I have so many fitness coaches bothering me and requests to advertise weight loss meds because I’m a “good candidate” … it gets you thinking.

My thoughts have been scrambling far more than usual. I feel like I have 60 tabs open at once (I mean I do…)

So. I’m journalling more, looking after myself, eating well, working out when I feel like it, and dipping my toes into studying something formal but small to begin with, to see how I manage the juggle. On top of the renovation (which I’m desperate to complete, but there’s so much to finish!) motherhood, chores and cleaning.

A little bit of a new year, new me. Except it’s August.

And I want to hold myself accountable, share my journey, and maybe find likeminded people along the way. Surely im not the only one feeling this lost and scrambled? taken in Shropshire by @chlowatton

Dirty fridge deep clean in a heatwave? Av a rest love. I love a good cleaning video and as it’s all I seem to do with my life I thought I would share my rank fridge makeover with you girls to maybe inspire you to go scrub your own. I use @elbowgreaseuk @fairycleaning.uk and @lovezoflora for the job and she is stinking GOOD! I need to gut this entire kitchen, next up that crazy pantry! Just to show you some reality, we don’t all have labelled and organised food cupboards 100% of the time, sometimes it’s chaos. Tell me how often you get the shelves out and clean that fridge then. by @chlowatton

My first time going OUT since having children 3 years ago can I get a HELL YEAHHHHH!!!! Hype me up girls cause I’m sat in this frock on a train full of serious people giving me the hairy eyeball and I’m feeling a lil nervous and over dressed. Going to a @housewise_event and meeting so many incredible creators and brands all the way in Manchester. I’ve got MAJOR imposter syndrome right now… love you girls, thanks for supporting my journey and allowing me these kinds of opportunities to go slink around the city with the likes of @bm_stores on this fine Saturday. #mumsnightout #mummakeover dress is @prettylittlething y taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @chlowatton

The biggest garden transformation in our renovation series yet!

This is the children’s play area, a perfect kids outdoor space for our little toddlers to call their own.

Comment “link” and I will private message you all of the details here.

ad with @tptoys who I’m so blessed to partner with - this is their
🌼𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝗪𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 🌼with Verandah, 6ft Wavy Slide, Double Swing Arm and Deck.
This is modular, meaning you can have just the playhouse if you’d like, or you can make additions to grow with your children. It even has a single swing option! I should say that the baby tub swing is sold separately.

We also added the Splash & Play Wooden Picnic Table which comes with a wooden lid, doubling up as an eating space for my boys and a cool water play sink! You pump the tap and water comes out, it’s given me hours of free time whilst they muck about.

My favourite things:
🌼pilot holes making it a simple DIY
🌼 Made from FSC certified wood (super smooth too)
🌼space saving, you can add play space under the cottage. I might turn it into a secret den.

We have spent weeks ploughing away at this space, removing rubble and debris, levelling out, painting, digging. In all kinds of weather and with the children to care for. It has been a labour of love, and it’s nowhere near complete! But, I feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to provide this space for our little boys. I am grateful 🙏 and it is exactly what they deserve.

Thank you for tuning in and watching my videos, I really appreciate you ❤️

Can’t wait to read what you think.

EVERY mums reality. How are we surviving this?! WTH?!! ⁣
⁣
your kids leave the house and instead of relaxing, you enter an aggressive cleaning era 😭whole house clean, go to take a single breath and BAM! Outta time. ⁣
⁣
Rinse and repeat for, 20 years? ⁣
⁣
People who say “the cleaning can wait” are unhinged because my brain performs like a monkey if my environment isn’t somewhat put together. Which, with kids AND BEING A SAHM just happens to be every day. 🐒⁣
⁣
Remind me, when does it get less messy please?⁣
