So what really happens to all the food in your gut?

Everything starts in your mouth, where teeth and saliva begin breaking down food into smaller pieces. (This helps in efficient digestion later on)

After swallowing, food enters the stomach where powerful acids and enzymes work their magic. It's literally like a culinary symphony in there.

It takes an adventure to the small intestine, absorbing nutrients like a pro. Your body extracts what it needs, leaving behind waste.

The indigestible bits, along with water, move into the large intestine, where water is reabsorbed, and the remaining waste forms stool.

Poop, its poop. Whoop!
It makes it’s final bow as it exits your body through the colon and rectum.

Food doesn't stay in the gut for long, but it definitely makes a lasting effect on the overall health of your body.

There is nothing in the world like holding my own child. Carrying him for 9 months, going through 30 hours of labor and needing around the clock care results in a bond that is unbreakable. Truly I now have experienced a mother's love for her child. As each day passes, it becomes more difficult not to put him down knowing that he loves me and I didn't have to do anything for his love. His sweet smiles, coos, precious looks for days makes me melt and want to love and care for him even more.
