Ceremonial Grade Organic Matcha Grade A.

ChocolAknin Paris’s daily-drinking Ceremonial Grade Matcha, Organic, stone-ground in Nishio, and made for people who want clean, smooth Matcha.

Grassy, slightly sweet, with a clean finish.
Less astringency than culinary grade, smoother than most “ceremonial” grades.

Grown and processed in Nishio, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
The leaves are shade-grown for 30-40 days, then steamed and stone-ground within 30 hours of harvest to lock in color and Umami.

Our Grade A Organic”
Ceremonial grade Matcha is made from first and early-second flush leaves for lower bitterness and higher Umami.
Finer texture, vibrant green color.

Organic certified, USDA Organic, JAS Organic, EU Organic.

No pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers.

Stone-ground :
Ground on granite mills to <18µm for a silky texture that dissolves cleanly in water and milk.

How to use it :

Traditional/Usucha :
2g matcha + 70ml 175°F water.
Whisk 20-30 sec for a smooth, light foam.

Iced/Cold brew :
2g matcha + 50ml room-temp water to bloom, add 100ml cold water, shake.
Steep 8-12 hrs for cold brew.

Latte :
2g matcha + 4 oz hot water, then 6 oz steamed milk.
Holds up well to milk without tasting flat.
