The world feels very heavy and sad this week. I went back to this bright and intense @chovali_chocolate 🍫 gifted by my SIL @zeldahatem to be reminded of the present, to feel a sense of peace and hope despite the outside noise. This bar is a 70% Oko Caribe Dominican Republic origin bar and it packs a punch in flavor. Strong coffee and bright cherry notes with hints of walnut. I devoured 4 pieces just while making this post. It’s delicious. It’s vibrant and reminds me why I fell in love with craft chocolate back in 2012; its incredible what well made chocolate from direct trade and appreciation at origin can taste like. Have you tried this bar? #tttt_elements by @chocolatedriven

2026! Wow. I can’t believe how full and fast 2025 was. I don’t post my chocolate consumption as much anymore but its still in my life and love sharing with friends and family. My hubby gifted me Denise’s @castronovochocolate drinking chocolate with this beautiful hand crafted mug by Indigenous artists in South America. Delicious and creamy the drinking chocolate is full of bright fruity notes and hints of walnut. I love drinking out of this mug. Wishing all my chocolate peeps a chocolatey 2026 and I hope to see as many of you as possible in person. I’m headed to the Salon Du Chocolat in NYC. Will I see you there? by @chocolatedriven

2025 was filled with recharging my soul on many levels. Filled the camera roll with beautiful memories of friends and family and our beautiful girls. Grateful to have traveled to so many places including Italy (despite the heat!). 2026 will hopefully be more of the same, filling my cup with love, peace and good times while taking care of myself. Cheers! 🎉💜 by @chocolatedriven

9 years married to the most wonderful person, my Sweets. I can’t believe how much time has gone by, grateful for all the amazing memories and the trust and understanding that comes from finding your true match. Cheers to more yummy gin cocktails, food adventures and travels. Love you @areklee 😘💜 by @chocolatedriven

In 2002 I was studying abroad in Florence Italy and one of my Professors took us to Brussels for a field trip to learn about the EU. It was because of her that I discovered @pierremarcolini. I remember walking into the chocolate shop mesmerized by the selection and aroma of chocolate. I never told this story to my husband @areklee. Yet, on his recent work trip to London where he did a day trip to Brussels he chose a box of these beautiful bon bons just for me. He said he went to 4 other shops and said “No, this is not good enough for my Sweets, I know her”. He really does!! It’s been so many years since I’ve enjoyed these wonderful confections. This is a part of my chocolate journey that I really cherish. Have you enjoyed @pierremarcolini bon bons? by @chocolatedriven

This is 44! Enjoyed a relaxing birthday with my family today. Stayed local and enjoyed why I love living here. A beautiful day. Stress-free, my kids were happy and I got to have yummy food and a classic Publix birthday cake. (IYKYK). Sometimes it’s best to keep it simple. Am I right? by @chocolatedriven

For week 10 of going through my 🍫 stash I finally made this @cruchocolate drinking chocolate with mushroom. It was delicious! I made it with oatmilk. I didnt get a big note of mushroom, it was mellow and smooth and super chocolatey. I topped it with some homemade whipped cream. Perfect for a chilly Orlando evening. Have you tried this drinking chocolate before? by @chocolatedriven

For week 9 of eating through my 🍫 stash I finished this award winning @theoandphilo 65% dark chocolate bar with black sesame and nuts. I’m a big fan of any dessert with black sesame. This bar is delicious and you definitely taste the black sesame. I love the beautiful wrapper, so intricate and colorful. Have you tried this bar? by @chocolatedriven

On this #internationalwomensday I want to share my trip to Philly where I got to have the best girls weekend with my three amazing #womeninchocolate friends: @37chocolates @chocomotions and @chocochaser. Such a jam packed fun time, tasting so many bars, enjoying @shaneconfectionery with their wonderful and talented staff and lots of laughs. The freezing temperatures couldn’t stop me from having a great time. After over a decade of enjoying and learning about craft chocolate, it is the women who have kept me connected and inspired to continue on this journey. People ask me if this is a hobby, it is way more than that. You have to be in it to understand. These three friends are doing amazing things for craft chocolate, connecting, educating, creating new products, discovering new makers. They inspire me and of course remind me why I fell in love with craft chocolate in the first place. Happy International Women’s Day! It really is every day that we deserve appreciation. 💜💃🏻🍫 by @chocolatedriven

For this week, week 8 going through my 🍫 stash I finished up this @hogarthchocolate Monsoon bar with 66% Ecuadorian cacao, ginger, lime, chili and lemongrass. Another well balanced inclusion bar, the ginger is strong but blends nicely with the other spices and creamy chocolate. Have you tried this bar? #tttt_rainbow by @chocolatedriven

Week 7- last week, as part of my commitment to finish bars in my 🍫 stash, I enjoyed both of these Peru origin @qantu_chocolat bars. The freestyle bar, named by @37chocolates, is a wonderful unrefined 64% dark chocolate that is crunchy, filled with yummy chocolatey berry notes. The Route de La Soie “Silk Road” is the most mysterious and well balanced spices in 70% dark chocolate. There are 12 spices include rose, cardamom and fennel. I absolutely love this bar. It is a wonderful flavor journey without overpowering your palette. (I bought another one over the weekend, I couldn’t resist). Have you tried these bars? by @chocolatedriven
