So far, pretty happy with the @innovv.global K6 system. Would've liked a bit higher framerate and some stabilization for getting cleaner reads on plates in motion, but for <$250 it's great having front and rear coverage that lets me just get on and ride without having to interact with it after the initial setup. I wouldn't use it for content recording but as a commuter it should be plenty for if I ever need to cover my ass with insurance or police, and until then its completely unobtrusive. 👌

How to listen to Breaking Benjamin but its just me crashing out over the positive terminal and wire routing with trying to add literally any accessories to the FJR. Bonus pic of the half cover to keep pollen off the bike.
.
@noco battery didn't fit sadly so its just another AGM but we've finally got their QD leads in so I don't have to access the battery if i need to jump it again, also finally got the @innovv.global K6 actually powered this time on the fresh battery so I'm covered if dallas drivers decide to do dallas drivers things.
.
Worst part is in the near future this is all getting ripped out and re-ran anyways to put switched power under the seat with a Healtech Thunderbox, I just have to custom make the cables for that since the battery is literally 4ft of wiring away from under the seat. Why, Yamaha. Why.

The daily ride vs what's bumping in my helmet.
.
Absolutely loving the FJR after just one week with it, and of course its got the @trexracinginc set on it. Whether or not they made bars for it was genuinely a consideration when I was shopping for a bike, "tested" them back when I had a Versys and they've got my full faith & wallet since.

New daily acquired, shootout to dream machines San Antonio for helping me purchase remote and sending this up to me, and my local branch for making it such a smooth pick up!
.
It took me less time to own it before I started taking it apart than it did for me to actually get the K6 dashcam installed, but damn if it didn't come out clean. Install difficulty was no fault of innovv ftr, the fairings on the FJR are just a huge pain.

Angled light mount kept things tucked in nicely, but too tightly to fit the VWS diffuser. Straight mount lets me fit it on without changing any other controls or positioning. Looking forward to seeing how much better the IRIS will perform indoors and up close now!

Finally “Done!”
Still plan on adding an admin light, changing pads, some minor things like that - but it’s finally reached a point of 100% usefulness. I can see in the dark comfortably. All in, 6.25lbs and ~$500. Can’t wait to get it to a range day!

It’s still a good ways from “finished” and I really need to find a longer chinstrap (I got a watermelon for a head), but at least now I can start actually making use of the BNVDs! Ignore the foot.
.
For those that saw my story about helmet options - nothing that’d potentially fit better (sized >63cm) was a reasonable price. Even retrofitting an ACH/CVC would’ve been well more than I was wanting to spend at this stage.

Great news y’all, I found my new personality!
.
But fr, beyond thankful to have such great friends and bosses as to get surprised with wholeass BNVDs for my Christmas bonus. 🙏😭 After I sold my PVS14 I’d been wanting to get back in for a while and now I can! Just need to source the rest of the setup and learn how to not load 7.62x39 into a 5.56 mag…

I feel like the calculator watch & flip phone really ties the whole “hotel nightstand” vibe together.

I’m ready happy with how the color on this one turned out. Anyone know what kind of flower it is? (Genuinely asking bc I do not)
