POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

new flash · DM for booking/questions · repeatable sheet

Inspired by nüshu女书, Chinese zen 禅意 floral arrangements, braille, and traditional motifs, I present you my new ‘Poems on Skin’ flash sheet 🖤

This collection is about love, eternity & inner peace 爱 · 永恒 · 禅意.
Some things we carry quietly: the love we receive, the love we give, the people we hold close, and the peace we slowly learn to find within ourselves. Titles below, and swipe through the slides for more details on the inspiration behind designs :)

1. Eternity 永恒 (with “eternity” in braille)
2. Love 愛 (愛 in traditional Chinese form, highlighting the ‘心’-heart within the character)
3. Begonia Blessing Vase 海棠福瓶 (blessing in nüshu, with begonia motif)
4. Orchid 兰
5. Winter Blossom Vase 梅瓶 with dots inspired by Joan Miró
6. Orchid with Begonia Motif 海棠洞窗观兰
7. Magnolia Meditation 玉兰禅修
8. Mother 母亲 (love & mother in braille)
9. Still Orchid Vase 静兰宝瓶
10. Elegant Bamboo 雅竹 (with 雅-‘elegant’ in Chinese braille)
11. Flourishing Magnolia 玉兰生长 (magnolia blossoms with a fan-shaped traditional Chinese garden window)

I wish everyone can find the inner peace they need, and the love they deserve. 🤍

For this collection, the whole sheet is repeatable. I’ll keep the designs available for a while and take them down whenever it feels like time for them to rest.

DM me for quotes and more information 🫶🏻
Size and placement are flexible. Colours can be as shown, or by request. I have a selected palette of red / blue / green variations that I’m comfortable working with.

Excited to tattoo these on you!! Booking with me xx 🖤🧘🏻‍♀️

永恒 Eternity on @chloes.42

Abstract flowing lines inspired by 永恒 (eternity) in Nüshu, intertwined with “eternity” in Braille.

I’ve always been fascinated by how every language and form of expression carries its own unique stories and meaning. What may go unnoticed or be unfamiliar to the majority can mean so much to the communities connected to it.

Nüshu and Braille come from very different histories, yet both remind us that a form of expression doesn’t have to be widely understood to be meaningful. Each carries its own history, identity, and voices that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered.

So happy and grateful to have brought this piece to life with @shiweio 🫶🏻

Inspired by the characters 光 (light) and 火 (fire) in Nüshu, reflecting the meaning behind your name.

A piece that tells a story of you, your thoughts, and the life you’ve lived. Broken lines together formed a pair of orchids, like fragments of an ancient script, each carrying a story of its own.

The red stamp is an existing tattoo, which I incorporated into the new design to make the two pieces feel connected and flow naturally together.

Thank you for trusting me with something so personal 🤍

Double Blessings 双福纹样 🧧

In Chinese tradition, bats are a symbol of good fortune, as 蝠 (bat) sounds just like 福 (blessings): fú

The traditional Five Blessings 五福, originating from 《尚书》（Book of Documents）, represent longevity, prosperity, health and peace, virtue, and a peaceful end to life.

So 福 is not just about luck or wealth, but also about living a healthy, peaceful, fulfilling life.

For this design, I took the original four-corner 福 motifs and pieced them together into a pair of patterns inspired by the Five Blessings. Together there is doubled Five Blessings hidden inside this piece.

I’m so in love with this one 🥹 Thank you @sajaniwa for giving me the opportunity to create this piece for you 🤍

My first time doing English calligraphy, and I think I really like it :p

A pair of swans, Rococo inspired architectural ornaments, clover motifs, and abstract curves inspired by the form of “洁” (purity) in Nüshu, representing the meaning behind her favourite flower, cherry blossoms 🌸

A piece about you, your story, and the connection you share with your family ♡

The flow and form are inspired by 福, blessings & good fortune, in 女书 Nüshu, connected with the existing clover and reimagined through a new design of mine 🍀♥️

And thank you for the chocolate 🍫 very YUM 🦦

Forever honoured to be the first one to tattoo you, I’m always grateful. Thank you for the trust and the opportunity. And thank you for sharing the stories with me. From part of your memories to part of your body, hope the experience is amazing and hope you carry on with all the good energy xx and may your new journeys bring you joy and peace;)

双生鸟 · Freedom & Balance

Inspired by the forms of “平衡(balance)” in Nüshu. Two birds are formed by air, with flowing lines together representing the balance of Yin & Yang.

Birds for me always carry the meaning of freedom, probably because they dominate the sky, where human can never experience how they do.
