Chicago, I’m so excited to share Daughters with you at the Opening Night of the 23rd Annual African Diaspora International Film Festival Chicago on June 5, 2026.

Join us for an evening celebrating Black cinema, culture, and community. In addition to the screening, we’ll have a reception featuring amazing West African cuisine, followed by a Q&A where @directedby_brittani & @sharyon_anita will be sharing more about the making of the film and the stories behind it.

We’re also excited to be screening alongside @edenmarryshow for Can You Stand the Rain? and to be part of a festival that continues to champion powerful voices from across the African diaspora. @ny_adiff
