Press Technician/Operator

ChopValue’s novel manufacturing process gives recycled chopsticks a second life. The Press Technician plays a vital role in transforming this under-utilized urban waste (chopsticks) into an innovative and beautiful material. In this role, you will be in charge of operating the press
machinery, and preparation of our raw material, roles requiring high levels of physical labor.

If this is you please include your resume and cover letter to calgary@chopvalue.ca

And tell your friends!! taken in ChopValue YYC by @chopvalue_yyc

It’s that time again #meettheteammonday

Meet Olivia! 👋
One of the awesome humans behind the chopstick recycling magic! 🥢✨

When she’s not helping turn yesterday’s chopsticks into tomorrow’s building materials, Olivia is busy being creative in other ways. 🎨 She’s a talented artist, a guitar player, and clearly has no problem getting her hands dirty! 😉

We love having creative minds like Olivia on our team — because at our shop, we believe a little imagination can turn waste into something pretty amazing.

Give Olivia a 👋 in the comments and help us say “Hi!” 🎸🥢♻️

We turned 330 recycled chopsticks into a leash hook! And every single one helps a long-stay shelter dog get seen 🐾

@arianas.doggos gives overlooked, long-stay shelter dogs a voice and helps them be seen for who they truly are, beyond the kennel. Capturing their personalities and connecting them with their special human 🐾

Each hook is handcrafted by @chopvalue_yyc from recycled chopsticks - eco-friendly, made local, built to last, and available in 4 designs 🌱

$10 from every purchase goes directly to Ariana’s Doggos to keep filming the dogs that need it most ♥️

Comment ‘CHOP’ to get the shop link 🔗🐕
