Reasons why I’ll be staying at the @mondrianseoulitaewon on my next trip to Seoul as a spontaneous nomad & luxury lounger… ◾️AMBIANCE & EXPERIENCE First impressions matter, and this one delivered instantly. From the warm welcome at arrival to the bold, design-forward interiors, the energy felt curated and alive. Upbeat music filled the space while subtle notes of saffron and amberwood lingered in the air, creating a vibe that felt both elevated and inviting. ◾️THE FOOD Dining on property exceeded expectations. Breakfast at Cleo offered the tastiest breakfast with an Asian flair like having, the yummiest bulgogi, crispy hash browns, shakshuka, made-to-order eggs, fresh pastries, and fruit , all surprisingly fresh for a buffet. Plenty of pick my up spots like Coffee Bean, Several Restaurants, CU store with🔥Korean Fried Chicken & of course room service (see how we had 2 gourmet dinners for $0 below) ◾️HOTEL FEATURES: Hotel features are thoughtfully designed. Several Lounges that offer expansive city views, paired with intuitive in-room tech for easy housekeeping requests or uninterrupted rest. @grownalchemist amenities and plush robes add a luxe touch. The arcade floor functions as its own hub, café, convenience store, art gallery, gym, and spa making the property feel like a destination, not just a stay. ◾️CHOSEN ESCAPE PERKS Booking through @chosenescapes truly elevated the stay. With partnership perks in place, the experience felt seamless and indulgent from start to finish: ✔️Early check-in after arrival ✔️Daily complimentary breakfast for two (I did the math this would easily be $100 for our stay) ✔️A $100 hotel credit that covered an in-room steak and lamb chop dinner (plus dessert), ✔️Late checkout that allowed for a slow, restful final morning, and a surprise sparkling wine moment at Rumbus Lounge with city views. The difference was tangible, less logistics, more ease, and a stay designed to be enjoyed, not rushed.
