this is the raw shrimp salad, som tum (papaya salad), and chicken khao soi from @saranrom_nyc

this is a trio of tacos from enrique olvera’s new and hyped @essetaco

I got the oyster mushroom, chicken “poc chuc”, and ribeye steak tacos. You can get them on house made masa corn tortillas or gringa style on a flour tortilla with chihuahua cheese which was probably my favorite. this is the munchie tripes rice noodle soup and beef rice noodle soup with a side of cucumber salad from @fer.restaurant

notable highlights are the chili oil which had a nice kick and numbing quality from sichuan peppercorns and the rice noodles which had an amazing slippery mouthfeel. the broth has great depth of flavor, but was still light and clean tasting

this is the chicken and ribs with an assortment of sides, but most importantly GREEN SAUCE from @chickenloversbayside

only the real ones know about this spot and the sauce. a comfort meal of meats cooked over direct fire, dipped in sauce that is just pure concentrated flavor

this is korean spicy beef and cabbage soup with banchan from parksanbal

the broth is not the most flavorful I’ve had, but it has a nice sweetness from the cabbage and the meat on the beef bones is so tender. some of the best sides are the rolled omelette, kimchi, and seaweed to eat with white rice. go when you’re craving spicy beef soup or non-spicy beef soup because that’s all they got on the menu and that’s ok taken in Parksanbal Babs by @chowitdown

this is a love letter to the danish cheese and butter on a roll. a classic breakfast with creamy, nutty, yet not too funky of a hard cheese, soft european butter, and a fresh crusty multi-seed sourdough roll with sesame, sunflower seeds, and pepitas. I will never get over you 🥰

this is everything I ate in copenhagen day 2. gained a real appreciation for microgreens and also learned that shrimp here hits real different

1. smørrebrød from @aamanns.dk (prawns, icelandic salmon, herring, egg and shrimps, and frikadeller)
2. cardamom bun, pistachio croissant, and lemon cream doughnut from @juno_the_bakery
3. spring salad on icelandic flatbread, short rib, and “blueberry milk”- a berry sorbet with smoked milk cream from @barrcph
