I imagine the last metro, moonlight and the person reading a book late night while commuting back from work.
Praying no one leans over to invade their space.

This is turquoise moon by the hills.

I want to reiterate that these are all made by hand and use handloom scrap textiles.

Some days the sky feels like the only thing big enough to hold what you're carrying. I keep coming back to skies, chasing the moon and the clouds.

Light dissipating through sunsets. Colors of the sky and the birds chirping in perfect harmony.
How much of life is deciding to lift something up and see if it flies with the wind. Staying to catch it if it falls.

I made these covers with birds flying and the sun shining as a reminder we will have it and have had it for as one can think of and beyond. To soar the skies ❤️

I love Pride and Prejudice
Every generation gets the Pride and Prejudice it deserves, and this one belongs to us.
Soniah Kamal's Unmarriageable moves the Bennets to Pakistan and doesn't so much translate the satire as reveal it was ours all along. The marriage market, the tailor's appointment before every rishta, the aunty auditing eligibility over a second cup of chai. Alys Binat teaches Pride and Prejudice to schoolgirls being quietly groomed for the exact fate the novel is laughing at, and somewhere in that irony the whole book clicks into place.
I have read it three times. It gets funnier and sadder in equal measure with each pass.
The Binat sisters know they're trapped in a marriage plot and resent it, and participate anyway, which might be the most honest thing anyone in this book does.

Our verdict: unputdownable, occasionally uncomfortable, entirely too accurate. The DDLJ of books, for us. NOt for the romance, but for that particular ache of wanting two people to simply say the thing and get closure!
