Ya know all those ads you see for tshirt blankets? Well, I'm the person who buys all the concert tshirts, almost any tshirt that I like, all the while knowing I DONT WEAR TSHIRTS! (I actually told Codi at the merch tent at Asbury for @kipmooremusic to not let me buy a tshirt...then I saw a hat. Now looking for hat projects too!! Lol )

So, here I sit, arranging and rearranging shirts every season. I don't want to get rid of them but I also don't want to hold on to stuff. I sold a bunch of my @kipmooremusic tanks to a fan who so loved all of them but that was before I decided to give this blanket thing a whirl.
Well, I got the final product todayand all I can say is WOW!!!
So many memories I can wrap myself in when the nights get colder coming up! Who doesn't need another blanket?!? And this one comes with meaning!!

Thank you @projectrepatusa for such a gem! Now, time to crank down the A/C in the apartment and wrap myself in this!!!

These Gulf Coast beaches may have taken a beating this weekend but check out the views!!! They NEVER disappoint! Sadly, lots of the #sugarsand is gone but we're all still here! So let's enjoy a sunset shall we??!!

Oh, and the dull roar of a generator... Like nails down a chalkboard these days!!

Electric power is overrated! Ya know what's not? Mother Nature's power! Nice breeze today. Windows and balcony open! Going to walk a lot and later gather by the pool with neighbors and grill what's in the fridge to salvage something. Could have been worse here. Today's walk...a very wet one and I'm not sure #littlemissluna🐕 is liking me right now BUT it's done! Surf isn't what I was expecting. Not a person in sight (although I heard someone from the weather channel is here, surely she is embellishing ALL OF THIS!)
Be weather aware friends! For those to the west, there is still time to come east! I'll be making banana bread and sipping hot coffee until it's time for wine!!

Energy walking the beach today was calming, not what I expected with a storm heading this way. We could have walked for hours! Perfect temp, water is warm, sandy toes...and birds for #littlemissluna🐕 !!

Well look at these kids!! 59 years ago today, they decided to unite in marriage, with family by their side, and create a family of their own! I'm sure it wasn't easy and once the three of us came along, I'm sure FUN got thrown in there somewhere too! All along the way, choosing each other! Without them, there is no us!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!! We love you so much and THANK YOU for giving us the gift of this life!! Watching you live it is my pleasure!!
