Complementarios 2026 is an exhibition exploring interdependence vs industrial overproduction in fashion and accessory design. My favorite is Charlotte Werth as her research uses pigment-producing bacteria to create textile colors and patterns, integrating biology directly into the design process.

Madrid-based hatmakers Myrte Sara Huyts & Javier Reta Gallego, who combine traditional millinery with experimentation, using upcycled felt, deadstock materials, botanical dyes and natural fibres.

Jesús Ugalde exhibition hits differently when you know there’s a personal connection behind the story. Understanding the person, the light, and everything that happens before and during the photograph makes you see the images in a completely different way.
