What better way to say goodbye to summer than with some static shots.

As a photographer, I always see things as static frames, so when I began to shoot video I approached it the same way by default. I love the subtleness of it.

I’ve been using my Fujifilm X100VI more and more to capture moments on video these days. It’s not talked about enough but this little camera really is a great hybrid. Who needs a Sony FX5 am I right? 😅

My take on the Spider-man end credits scene as stills from the streets of NYC. Can anyone spot spidey in the shot?🕷️

All photos were shot using Sony alpha cameras and lenses, and were edited in lightroom.

Since Nolan has everyone talking about Film vs Digital, here is a little comparison from a recent photoshoot. Film just has this beautiful look you can’t recreate digitally, which is why there is so much hype around it. But I will say the Fujifilm shots come close.

Film photos shot on Kodak Kodacolor 200 using my Contax G1 with Zeiss 45mm f2 lens. Digital shot on my Fujifilm X100VI with 23mm f2. Both colored in Lightroom.

Some of my favourite life moments that I caught on film over the past year.

All shot on various Kodak film stocks using my Contax G1 paired with the 45mm f2 lens (I love this camera combo so much, highly recommend if you’re interested in shooting film). Finally trying out some of the new Kodak stocks too, excited to see how those turn out.

Finally dropping some car photos from Japan and the timing couldn’t be more perfect with @nissan just announcing the return of the Skyline.

Which of Nissan’s JDM legends is your favourite? I’m a sucker for a good R34 spec, but that Veilside 370Z with the labubu looks great lol.

Shot on the Fujifilm X100VI. Edited in Lightroom to get that film inspired / Tokyo Drift-esque color grade.
