CHAPTER 25!!! 🎉🥳🎂🎈Again London is cold af so throwback to when I was feeling much warmer in some blue af waters 🌊 24 was honestly one of the best years of my life yet, in last years bday post I set the intention of success for this chapter and boi did it manifest cuz accomplished a lot of life time goals that I always wanted to achieve. Better late than never? Me and this degree bro…🙈I am proud to announce that as of July I now FINALLY officially have my degree : First class honours in Drama and English Literature From Queen Mary University of London @officialqmul 🇬🇧💙with a Year abroad at The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) @ucla 🇺🇸💛Recipient of 3 academic prizes: 1) The English and Drama Practice Based Research Project Prize for my practice based dissertation: “Celebration, Compliance and Confusion: The Black Queer Experience, an investigation of intersectionality” ✊🏾🏳️‍🌈2) The Sylvia Perry prize for outstanding academic achievement 📝✅3)The Arts Intern Award for hands on training in multiple areas of the arts. e.g arts administration, events, education and technical theatre 🎭🎬It may have taken a little longer due to all the challenges that have happened over these past few years but I’m pleased to have persevered by the grace of god.
