Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬. We came with high expectations and somehow, this country still managed to surprise us.

Glacier-covered mountains, endless dramatic landscapes, real nomadic culture, incredibly open-hearted people and even a visit from friends from back home along the way.

One of those places that stays with you.

Rahmat, Kyrgyzstan. ❤️

You still think Kazakhstan has anything to do with Borat? Think again!

Turquoise lakes, endless steppes, dramatic mountains, wild canyons, surprisingly modern cities and some of the warmest people we’ve met on the road.

Rahmet, Kazakhstan. 🇰🇿❤️

The Pamir Highway - PART 2 🇹🇯
Crossing the Ak-Baital pass on 4655m with our humble T5 and hiking on over 5000m. The highest we have ever been - so far 😉

The Fann Mountains in Tajikistan 🇹🇯
Rough, wild, and unbelievably beautiful. Our final stop in nature before taking on the biggest challenge of this journey: the Pamir Highway. #7lakes #artuch #fannmountains #tajikistan by @chris_trndl

🇺🇿 Uzbekistan felt like stepping into another world and exceeded every expectation we had.

The ancient Silk Road cities left us speechless — a surreal blend of beauty, history, and culture unlike anything we had ever experienced before.

But beyond these iconic places, rugged mountain landscapes offered already a glimpse of what awaits us in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

And once more, it were the people who made our time in Uzbekistan so special. Everywhere we went, we were met with incredible warmth, kindness, and hospitality that truly touched our hearts ❤️ #uzbekistan #samarqand #bukhara #fergana by @chris_trndl

1800 km across the endless steppe to get there.
200+ km of off-road.
20 Crêpes from @diego.bellamy.
1 broken camera.
0 faults on our brave VW.

Mangystau makes you work for it, every view earned, every mile worth it.

Back in Georgia 🇬🇪 for the second time — and it showed us every side of its soul. From breathtaking highs to a few challenging moments, it reminded us why we fell in love with this country in the first place. Since we are done with the Russian transit now, it’s time for Kazachstan 🇰🇿 by @chris_trndl

🇦🇲 Recap - Days of rain and low clouds, then suddenly the most breathtaking landscapes. Armenia left us speechless. Now it’s time to drive to the north again.

Svaneti - a remote region of the Greater Caucasus, isolated for centuries and standing strong against all kinds of invaders. Rough, rich in tradition, and surrounded by landscapes so overwhelmingly beautiful they take your breath away. A region where nature demands everything, but gives so much in return. #svaneti #georgia #mestia by @chris_trndl

Recap Turkey 🇹🇷 - thanks for having us again during this very special time. Now it’s time for Georgia. by @chris_trndl

Istanbul – a city impossible to capture in just 60 seconds. A city we’ve truly fallen in love with. So rich in history, culture, cuisine, and life. We’re really excited to finally be back in Turkey. Misafirperverliğiniz için teşekkürler! 🇹🇷 by @chris_trndl
