I've got some BIG life news! Throughout my life, so many of you have encouraged me to pursue art as a career, and now I'm happy to say that I've finally begun my jorney to become a tattoo artist! As of October i started my apprenticeship at @ethereal_tattoo_ In concord NH under @ethereal_tattoo_rachel

At the current stage of my apprenticeship, I’m exploring a variety of different styles under the direction of Rachel. My current piece is in the neo-traditional style and is inspired by the Litany Against Fear, written by Frank herbert.

I was listening to music while waiting for the eclipse, this song came on as I was watching it at its apex, as the earth darkened and I stared up at the sun the lyrics sung "and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace"

Introducing, the jackass penguin! (Or the cape penguin) this little guy lives in South Africa and claimed the name of jackass penguin because of the noise he makes! Sounding like a miniature donkey, there cape penguin will honk using three distinct types of sound, which are actually reminiscent of human syllables! They use these honks when greeting one another, mating, or defending territory!

My latest. This was my first attempt at drawing on black paper.
And here is an interesting fact about ravens!
The raven is one of the most incredible birds on earth, and one of the smartest! Its body to brain ratio is the same as a chimpanzee, Ravens are even able to understand the concept of water dispersion! In a test, a zoologist had given a Raven a tube filled half way with water, and floating on the water was a bottle cap that had this ravens favorite snack, the raven was not able to reach the food at first, its head was to big to fit in the tube. After a while of contemplating, the raven then began to pick up small rocks and pebbles, and drop them in the tube, causing the water to go up, and the raven to get a special treat!
