Inktober day 15 - Hooray

I'm not sure if she just made an impossible jump or if this is a Thelma and Louise moment. Either way she's pretty happy about it.

Super fun DTIYS challenge from @halleyvision ❤️

I went completely rogue on this one and really changed it up - I don't have a prayer of doing something as detailed as the original, so I chose a very graphical route. Enjoy! 🍄

Inktober day 14 - Lady

It didn’t start as a Lady Gaga tribute but that’s where it went!

Inktober day 13 - Flimsy

My head went straight to a paper boat - was fun creating a stylised wave . Would make a nice linocut 😁

My Insta feed gets a bit monotone during Inktober so here's a quick portrait of Roxy from Zenless Zone Zero.

Was trying out some new acrylic markers - pretty good but I struggled with shading so used some colour pencil too. Will try something more graphical/cyberpunk next time.

Inktober day 12 - Toss

Not sure she’s got enough distance on that grenade - let’s hope she smacks it with the baseball bat!

Inktober day 11 - Rescue

I’ve gone Greek classical - this is the story of Orpheus rescuing Eurydice from Hades and the underworld. Those who know the tale know it doesn’t end so well…

Inktober day 9 - Ram

I just had this vision of a hero ram rising above the flock and having some sort of amazing moment. Very daft, but fun 🐏

Inktober Day 8 - Stinky 💩

Imagined these two robots, one happily sucking poop up and one not so happy to be carrying it around...

Might save this idea for a 3D render another time - could be fun.

Inktober day 7 - Panic!

I went for a B-movie theme on this - I mean who doesn't love a giant chicken crushing their city?

One aspect of Inktober that I try to lean into is making sure I create something, and not get too hung up on perfection or details.

There are loaaaaaads of things wrong with this drawing: scale, perspective, faces, anatomy, layout... BUT if I stopped to fix all those things I'd be on day 30 before I'd posted anything!

Inktober Day 6 - Ogre

Not sure I'd be racing round for dinner at this guy's house...

I got some very strange looks from other passengers as I drew this on the train back from work.
