Last week we celebrated one year of marriage the best way we could. At home with our beautiful little girl, reliving the day that started it all. I recreated our first meal as husband and wife from AhbA, and somehow it was even more special this time around.

This year gave us more than I ever imagined. We became husband and wife, then mom and dad. Watching you become the most incredible mother has made me love and admire you even more.

Thank you for making this house a home, for loving our daughter so fiercely, and for making every day feel like the best day to be your husband.

Today is the last time we have birthday celebration with just the two of us. Today is Alana’s last birthday before she begins the next chapter of both her and our lives.

We’ve made some amazing memories, traveled the world, ate a ridiculous amount of good food, and most importantly, made our little girl. You’re going to be the most amazing mother 🥹

“Do you know what we get to do today?
We get to play baseball.”

What an honor is was to go out and play for Thailand. It’s my first time there since becoming a dual citizen, and being able to represent the country feels unlike anything else. We might not have completed the ultimate goal, but I’m so proud of the guys for giving their everything each game. 2nd place in Southeast Asia is a hell of an accomplishment.

Special thanks to my wife for taking care of Whiskey boy and holding down the fort at home, I love you @alanaamilne ❤️

Thank you @joedaru for coming up to me after a game 13 years ago and saying, “random question but are you Thai by chance?” You’re the rock of @teamthailandbaseball and without you, us halfies wouldn’t get the chance to do this.
