Dvaya.

It means”pair” in Sanskrit and it holds the whole project in one word.

Two people. Two saris. Two ways to wear one garment. Two lives that crossed paths in the middle of a disaster and connected. Dvaya is the project that allowed them to create something beautiful together.

Every Dvaya item begins as two saris. Thrifted, donated, rescued from the back of a closet or even worse from landfill. They are sewn together, so that one garment becomes two. Flip it, and it’s different.

Nothing is bought new. Nothing is wasted. And every imperfection, a faded patch, a stitch that tells a story, is kept, because it is part of the fabric’s history.

This is slow fashion. Simple fashion, fashion that allows you to be part of the story.

Happy Birthday to our rock, our anchor, our safe place. In a world that feels so bleak right now, walking side by side with you is the only place we want to be. Thank you for creating space where we all feel so loved and protected.
Going on adventures with you is our favourite thing to do.
Happy birthday!!
We love you so much. ❤️ by @chrisdoesphoto

Just that slight bent arm adjustment and not thinking of chest to the bar but past it and the whole back has to engage. You will be surprised where the added power comes from when the whole muscle is engaged. Try it! I dare you! by @chrisdoesphoto

Dismantle apartheid states,.
Stop wyt supremacist and other ethno national leaders who act with impunity,

Thought I would do something to change the algorithm as I’ve probably been shadow banned a few times. The only thing that really helps keep my mind sane amongst the crazy shit is working out. Been doing this since I was 11, seriously. From the basement in the family and wherever I am in the world. Never stop looking after your health, body, mind and soul. by @chrisdoesphoto
