This is more than a concert. This is a moment. Don’t watch it happen — be part of it. by @chrisdotwesley

“THIS IS CHURCH” isn’t a genre — it’s a testimony. I don’t know how to fully explain what “undignified” church sounds like. I just know it’s what happens when every sound that raised me — the reverence, the gospel, the R&B, the hip-hop, all of it — gets to worship in the same room. No apology. No box. Just full surrender.

This is that moment, captured live. Come be part of the recording.

I was raised in the pew. I was shaped in the culture of my city. Church isnt either/or. It’s both. This sound, this recording? This is ChUrch…….Undignified! See you January 1. by @chrisdotwesley

If you know me, you know how hard it is to get me to do ANYTHING on a Saturday, but this man means so much to me, I got on a plane. Pastor @pastorgaines took a chance on me when I was 23 years old and has been a constant mentor, father figure, pastoral example, and advocate for me since then. I’m so grateful for he and Sis. Gaines, as well as @micahrgaines . Happy 30th Pastoral Anniversary! May the last leg be the best one! @afmbcdallas , Lord willing I’ll see yall tomorrow morning. After all the good preaching I got at Hampton this week, I FEEL LIKE PREACHING! taken in Hilton Lexington / Downtown by @chrisdotwesley

I’m typically the one who forgets to take pictures because I try, to the best of my ability, to be present in moments. This week was no different. I failed to capture much of the time, but this single picture captures the high point of this week. My brother beloved, @joshinpursuit was the morning preacher and The Fam showed up to encourage and support our brother. Friends without agenda who show up to support each other is PRICELESS. And….let the record reflect, my brother is WITHOUT A SINGLE SHRED OF DOUBT, The Lord’s Preacher!!!!!! #WeNow by @chrisdotwesley

Lesson: Allow your ideas permission to develop 🙏🏽
.
This song has been on my playlist and on REPEAT ever since I came across it, years ago. And to my surprise, when I taught it to my choir, @blackawakeningchoir, and while we were ministering it at a service, I began to hear ideas and arrangements mid-song.
.
When I left church, the notion of developing this idea would not leave me alone. I believe that God was prompting me to give myself permission to see where this would go and not to dismiss it, even if it was just a creative moment in time.
.
Thank you for this amazing (no pun intended 😅) song and sound @chrisdotwesley @udpraise! ✊🏽🔥 I’m definitely a fan and supporter and your music has blessed a lot of people that I know and work with on the regular! 🙏🏽
.
Do yourself a huge favor and check out their albums! They will certainly bless you! 💯

It’s been a minute, but we had to show you how much fun we had at the @soarawards last month. Thank you @vj_mccoy for letting us come through Squalfest. The pictures are worth thousands of words but still don’t say it all. Just know we had a time!
