Ya Ghorbati features new interpretations of the music of cabaret performers, pop stars, iconoclasts, and folk innovators of midcentury Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. Salim Halali, a legendary gay performer, the owner of three cabarets in Paris and Casablanca, and a specialist in Chaabi, was a trailblazer of North African pop music.

We spent a whole year in the studio, and now we are finally ready to release the full album of Ya Ghorbati (out on July 10) ✨✨✨
