What a Coach
I started going @asw_wigan last August just to up my grappling game whilst I was at another club. I travelled every Tuesday and Thursday from Salford just to be a part of the club. This year in January I offical moved over to ASW full time and it was down to this man here @chrishoban_asw .
He has believed in me from the moment I met him and pushed me to be a better fighter and person. He didn't care about my record at the time of being 0-2, he only cared that I shown up and gave 100%. He guided me to my 1st Gold he guided me to winning grappling comps. Our first time out on the MMA circuit didn't go to plan but was he mad NO! All he was bothered about was what did I learn and take away form the loss. He is not bothered if I win or lose just that I gave it my all I learn from mistakes and I keep showing up.
He never talks about how good he was or is his soul focus is on his Team and the future of the people at the clubs @warriors___wrestling and ASW. The proof is in the actions he will travel between comps from diffrent parts of the country just to be in our corners.
If i can be half the fighter he was I'd take it.
Thankyou for being our coach mentor and friend.

A weekend well spent.

A purpose fulfilled.

Surrounded by winners in and out of sports.

Because Success doesn't come from talent,

It comes from hard work and going the extra mile

Straight back to work tomorrow for everyone.

Doesn't matter how hard it is....the work gets done!

Exactly 3 years ago today, at the age of 14 @miles.mather123

This young man was in hospital having major surgery to remove a large cancer tumor from his body.

A fight no kid should ever have to experience,
1-0 to Miles.

A real fighter.

Today he won his amateur MMA debut in dominant fashion. First round submission.
1-0 to Miles.

Dream big kids and never let go of it!

To top the weekend of the 4 boys went 2 and 2 last night at @ikigai_submission_grappling

Abother great weekend for myself and the club @asw_wigan

Happy coach. See you on the mats tomorrow
