Here Comes Trouble

A group show celebrating all the fun that trouble can bring.

A project @poisongd, @_rathbone_ and myself founded late 2021. Originally it came from us being frustrated that there was nowhere to showcase the countless talented creatives that we knew throughout the surf industry and youth culture in general. It was as simple as “Why don’t we just do it…”
Shortly after showing at @greenroomfestival in May, we asked our friends at the @joint_harajuku if we could show at their space. @billabong_japan and @hidden_champion jumped on board helping us massively to make everything happen.
By the time we did (that same October) we’d also hosted a local event in Costa Mesa the week before.
By this stage the idea had evolved to a mobile event - combining forces with local crew in each location that we had a connection with. A global network of amazing humans, ingrained in youth culture and making a rad future through being creative.
Something I’m extremely proud of.

One of the collection for my @herecomestrouble.show - Tokyo. When I saw the mini van parked out the front of Virgil Normal it reminded me of the Good Kid Maad City album cover, I love their signage too.
