“Humbled by Harbour Town”

Is the phrase I said to my caddie while walking down the 18th fairway.

I struggled off of the tee and during my approaches into greens (They were as hard as a rock, clubs that normally would rip back were rolling off the back). I had a lot of success out of the bunkers making 4 ‘sandies’. But it has slid its way into one of my all time favorite courses even though I didn’t play great while struggling to keep double bogey off of the card.

Final score for the round was a 88 (47-41) but it was an absolute hoot and holler. by @chrisjguider

“The Greens are Scary”

Is the only way to summarize the round at No. 2

In reality, I had one 3-putt, made a few bad decisions for short game but I shot a quality 82.

Highlight of the round was mashing a drive 300 yards, hitting an 8-Iron into a green, and making a 2-putt birdie (And getting a standing ovation for my approach on the 18th) taken in Pinehurst #2 Golf Course by @chrisjguider

I’m grateful for each person who has been with me along the way to this momentous event in my journey of faith! The Bishop is super sweet, and I’m happy to have been able to chat with him for a bit. I am blessed to have such great people around me. Love you all and God Bless!

Also if you are wondering, my confirmation name I chose was Thomas More. by @chrisjguider

The St Andrews Old Course was breathtaking.

I never thought I’d be here, let alone play, the home of golf. It is truly a surreal experience. Words cannot describe the feeling. I can only summarize the round.

Started off playing great, 39 on the front. Missed 2 birdie putts, on the back, I started rocky with 2 pars and a few bogeys but regained track with a birdie. I finished with a 39 on the back. Total for the round was a 78 (Career Low to Par).

Fun Fact: My Caddie also Caddied for Obama when he played the Old Course, dude relieved so much stress. by @chrisjguider
