Easy to dream a dream, though it's harder to live it.

This one is hard to put into words.

One second you’re doing what you love, and the next you’re being carried off the pitch knowing something isn’t right.

Torn ACL. Something I never wanted to hear. A kind of pain that’s hard to describe not only physically, but emotionally too, knowing that in one moment, everything you had planned changes.

Sometimes the hardest moments show you the things that matter most.

These first few days have reminded me just how lucky I am to have the people I do around me. Every message, every call, every visit. My family, my friends, my teammates, and everyone who has reached out you’ve made one of the most difficult moments feel a lot less lonely.

It won’t always be easy. There will be frustrating days, slow days, and days when I might want to give it all up. But there will also be progress, small victories, and eventually, the moment when I’m back.

Until then, I’m not going to rush the story.

Heal properly. Work quietly. Appreciate my people. Trust the process. Come back when the time is right.

This isn’t the chapter I would have chosen, but it’s mine now.

I’ll be back. In my own time, in my own way.
